My Favourite Skincare Products

Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome to a new host of blogs that I'll be pushing out onto Iridescent Places called "My Favourite ...*insert beauty product*"! I know I'm an original one *inserts sidewise winky smirk emoji*- Regardless on with the post! With the cold months upon us, I feel the need to treat my skin with more love and care than ever. I suffer from really dry skin in the winter months, and I love myself some good skincare pampering!

Kaeso Beauty Hydrating Toner Basil Mint & Cotton

I've never really been one for using "toners" because, well I'll be honest here, I had no idea what they actually did for quite a while. This was sort of an impulse buy (aren't they always?) because I wanted to see if and what they actually do. This toner is said to, "have so many forces with a powerful nutritious supplement for your skin care routine." I use this after applying my cleanser when I still have a damp face and put a little on a cotton pad and gently apply to my skin. I have to say my skin has looked a lot brighter since using these and have even noticed a change under my eyes where my dark circles used to be. Is this was a toner is meant to do? If so, it's working!

Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

Now although I did go and buy the Fresh cleanser and have been using it, I will always tend to go back to using the Ultrabland if I've had a heavy makeup day. I really love how you can see what a difference it makes when taking off your makeup. With a damp face I lather this onto my skin and around my eyes. Using a cotton pad I rub off all the cleanser and with it comes off all the makeup. It's incredible! Now I am one to use facial wipes (guilty) but by using this afterwards I notice how little those actually take off. My skin has been a lot better now that I really cleanse it and I would give full credit to this beautiful product in doing so!

Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream

I would say my hands are the most abandoned part of me in my beauty regime. My nails are always so weak and my nail polish unfortunately chips so easily that I barely do them.  So I've decided to give my hands a little TLC and I'm glad I'm using this product to do this. This hand moisturizer is lovely and really sinks into the skin very quickly. I even own a miniature bottle that I take in my handbag because I'm so obsessed with it! Also the smell....ohhhh the smell is gorgeous.

Louis Widmer Créme Vitalisante

I ran out of my all-time favourite Olay face moisturizer when I was away and decided to pick up a very Swiss brand (helping the local economy and all that). The Créme Vitalisante is a night cream that I apply before bed (duh) and it aims to regenerate the skin's tissue. My skin is very funny about certain moisturizers which is why I usually stick with only one, but my skin has been adoring this recently. It sinks into my skin fairly quickly which is always a bonus and a little goes a long way. Dry patches are no longer a part of my day and it is such a soft feeling moisturizer!

Any recommendations or things you've been loving? Let me know!
