A Very Festive Lush Haul

Now I can think of three things my readers are thinking.

1) Caroline you an absolute lush-aholic, didn't you just do a Lush haul the other day? Answer: yes, I'm a self confessed Lushie and need to go to Lush Rehab. Someone....anyone please help!

2) Wait....why have you gone and purchased a load of bath bombs and bubble bars...when you don't have a bath at university? Answer: well this kind of merges into the first answer. So maybe I can't use these right now, HOWEVER, when I go back home at Christmas time I will be able to use these to my hearts content. That's right, I've purchased these two months prior to actually being able to use them.

3) Caroline these are mostly all Christmas products. Christmas isn't until two months away.  Answer: Christmas starts in November.

Now that we've settled that these were totally unnecessary let's go ahead into the gorgeous things I picked up. The lovely people at Lush in Guildford never fail to make me laugh and always give me the best advice. Big shout out to the two lovely guys who are designers and making the shelves look beautiful! As you can see I really went to town on the glitter products, even though I'm not that much of a fan of glitter but hey, it will be Christmas when I use them so whoop!

Five Gold Rings

These bubble bars immediately caught my eye when they hit the shelves at Lush. Definitely a newbie this year I couldn't wait to get my hands on these. For £4.95 you get 5 bubble bars to crumble into your bath which I think is an amazing deal. They have such a lovely vanilla scent, which isn't too sweet and packed with illipe butter and moringa oil, I think these will be amazing on the skin. The reason why I love bubble bars is because of the fact that they really do something to your skin other than just make the bath look pretty.  As you can tell these are very sparkly and I have a feeling I will be loving these before heading out to any Christmas parties!

Peeping Santa

oh my goodness can we just be in awe at how bloomin' cute this bubble bar is? This bubble bar is one of the sweeter smelling products that I bought and really reminds me of the Dashing Santa bath bomb which would probably be down to the Bergamot oil. I will definitely get a good 2-3 uses out of this bubble bar and with the rich fair trade organic cocoa butter I can just imagine how heavenly my skin will feel.

Holly Golightly

Another bubble bar (obvs have a thing for them) which is probably my favourite scent out of the entire batch. If someone told me to describe christmas to them, I would probably just shove this under their nose and yell "THIS IS IT!" I was so apprehensive picking this up, a) because I didn't want to get glitter all over my jumper - I did and b) because I already picked up a load of other glittery products. Now I know this bubble bar has been around for quite a while but I have finally picked up the courage because my goodness does it smell of cinnamon. Basically, the best smell in the entire world. I will be saving this one specifically for Christmas eve, though I know how tempting it will be to use it once I get home..

Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar

Of course I couldn't go into Lush without picking this little munchkin up.  As Halloween has been and gone I knew I had to grab this before it leaves the shelves. Only around for a short time per year, this citrus scented bubble bar is divine. Now although I won't be able to use it until Christmas time I just fell in love and everyone always raves about how amazing it smells in the bath, oh and more importantly, how many bubbles it creates - BUBBLES!!

 The Magic of Christmas

As I'm not a particular fan of the Snow Fairy scent, I felt like I always missed out because I didn't particularly like the smell of the Magic Wand bubble bar. But hallelujah finally something for us spicy people! One word; Cinnamon. Can anyone else see a pattern here, bubble bars and cinnamon? Not only is this by far the most aesthetically pleasing Lush product I have ever owned in my life, the fact that it's one of those bubble bars that you can get so many uses from is just an added bonus. Although it does come to a heftier price at £5.95, I do think these are so worth it as you can get up to 6 baths worth.

Cinders

Woah Caroline. This isn't a bubble bar?! I know. I know. Look at me branching out - so so proud. Cinders is a bath bomb that I've actually never tried but know that this is something that everyone usually flaps their arms about in a manner that reminds me of the bat cages at the zoo. So therefore I decided to see what all the fuss is about - well, I will when I actually use it. I have to say, I was a bit surprised that the bath bomb is quite small so I will probably use this along a bubble bar as well. I am so so interested in the popping candy as I've never really...tried anything like it in my bath - oh and the smell, oh who would've guessed, almond and cinnamon! I will generally smell like a Cinnamon Stick Yankee Candle in December.

So there it is! My festive Lush haul. I have to say I was impressed that I was able to get 6 amazing products, many which have multiple uses for the total of just over £26 pounds. There are of course a few other of my favourite products such as the Butter Bear and Dashing Santa which I didn't pick up but I couldn't resist trying a handful of new products! What are some of your favourite Lush products from this years festive collection?
