Healthy (er/ish) Banana Chocolate Milkshake


It seems forever ago that I wrote a recipe blog post and this is totally and entirely the fault of the state of my university kitchen and the state of my eating habits whilst being here. Put down the Oreos Caroline. It's entirely obvious that I have a massive sweet tooth and chocolate is basically a staple food group in my life. A lot of the time milkshakes contain ice cream, a hefty amount of sugar and of course, blah blah blah, end all, be unhealthy. SO, I tried out a little "healthier" alternative to see the results!

Ingredients:

1 Frozen Banana sliced up
1 tbsp of raw cocoa powder (I use Bioglan Superfood Organic Raw Cacao Powder)2 tsp of Agave Nectar
1/2 cup of skimmed milk
1/2 cold water

I whizzed this all up in my Active blender, god I love that thing, and voilĂ ! A chocolate milkshake! I love having these after dinner instead of devouring an entire Toblerone! You can even remove the cocoa powder and make it a plane banana milkshake, but to me, the chocolate is a necessity!
