Superdrug Haul

I've had my eyes on a few things in Superdrug for quite a while now and naturally I can't steer myself away from a little haul and thought I would share some of the goodies I picked up because that way it made the whole purchasing of these products totally valuable and necessary. Yay another "Caroline justifying herself comment!"

Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Golden Sugar

I've always raved about how much I love Revolution makeup as it's always an amazing bargain and the quality is really top-notch in my opinion. Once you open this product stars were dancing in my eyes, no not because I was about to faint because I hadn't had chocolate that day sometimes I get that feeling, but because I couldn't believe the beauty that my eyes were seeing, you know kind of like when you open the first chocolate advent calendar door? That beauty. Caroline why must you link everything to chocolate all the time?! I'll be doing a full review on this palette but first impressions are that I'm so intrigued. There are definitely a variety of different blushers and bronzers including some great shades for contouring. There is a lot of sparkle so if you're not really fan of that then this probably isn't the palette for you. I on the other hand love a bit of glitter and sparkle especially when it gets to Christmas time! Regardless for £6 I think it was an absolute bargain!

Sleek Blush in Flushed

I have been meaning to pick up this gorgeous product for so so long and it's been sold out every time to my frustration! I literally looked like the cheshire cat when I found it on the shelves and caught myself in the mirror. That was not cute. I highly rate Sleek as a drugstore brand and their contour kit is one that I use everyday without fail. Flushed looks perfect for this Autumn and Christmas weather as I much prefer a darker and more red blush than a pink toned one.

Collection Speedy Highlighter in Pearl Sheen

I don't know a single beauty blogger who hasn't "oooohhh" and "ahhhheeddd" at this product and as Collection does produce one of my favourite concealers I just had to get this. Yes I had to okay?! From a first swatch I am actually far more impressed than I thought I would be. The consistency is extremely creamy, blendable and the highlighter provides a lovely sheen rather than a "glitter-ball" effect. I actually tried it out yesterday on top of my foundation and I was so surprisingly impressed by it! For £4 it lasted the entire day which was just .... just... amazing. That took a long time to chose a generic word. No but seriously, if you're looking for a cheap highlighter, I totally recommend this!

Superdrug Peel-Off Masks

I picked up three of these masks; two in tropical cocktail and another in Manuka honey as they were on offer 3 for 2. We love a good offer. I absolutely love these masks for a night-in or before a night out as I always feel as if my skin is a lot softer and my foundation practically glides on after. The best thing about peel-off masks though is that satisfying feeling of peeling them off and looking like a zombie. Am I right? Yeah I know I am. I'm not a fan of the non peel-off ones as they usually are just a lot messier than using these and I end up getting the clay everywhere in my room and find it two weeks later smudged all down my closet.

TRESemmé Ultimate Hold Hairspray

It's no secret that my hair does not cooperate. I cannot style it at all. No matter how many days I have "dirty hair" for or how many hairspray products or dry shampoo bottles I go through, I cannot style it. The ONE thing I can do is putting my hair in braids over night and letting it go in the morning. This however doesn't last the entire day and as I wanted to do this again I decided to pick up a mini bottle of this hairspray as I would never go through a large one myself! Although it doesn't last the complete day as my hair is so thin and straight, it does make it last a lot longer than if I had no hairspray so that's a result I guess?

So there we go, a mini Superdrug haul that yet again, I just HAD to do. It would've been criminal otherwise! I would love to know if there is anything I need to pick up next time in Superdrug or if you've tried any of the above products! Let me know!

  1. Love peel off masks! It's been ages since I've used another one but they're so fun. That Sleek blush looks amazing and the blushes in the cheek palette remind me of the Hourglass and Max Factor ones when I look at them. I'll be interested to hear your full review! :) x

  8. Linking everything to chocolate is so normal for me, I don’t even think about it twice :P That blush colour is so vibrant! You’re so right about peel off masks being very satisfying to take off, and I have to say - I love your nail polish!!! :)
