Weekend Away Makeup Travel Bag - Berlin

Yup, I have to put "Berlin" at the end of every blogs post title before I go away. As you can tell, I'm just too excited to get away from university for a couple of days! God people are going to be really sick of hearing "Berlin" after a while. If it was up to me I would take my giant acrylic makeup drawers with me on my trip to Berlin but alas, SqueezyJet. So I wanted to share with you my weekend away makeup travel bag for my trip! I would firstly like to congratulate myself on the amount of makeup I'm bringing as I'm far too impressed that it's an acceptable amount? Right? Right,

Eyes

Eyeshadow: For eyes I've packed along my trusty Mac Extra Dimension Eye Shadow in Amorous Alloy. We know that this has been an all-time favourite during the Autumn season for me and not only is the size perfect for taking with me abroad but the colour is so ideal for the evenings when we want to go out for dinner or drinks and give my make-up look at little bit more depth than my day-time look.

Eyeliner: I can't go anywhere without my eyeliner and it's no doubt that I'm carrying with me my trusty L'oreal Pencil Perfect Eyeliner Ebony eyeliner.

Mascara: I've been mixing it up a little and have moved away from my Better Than Sex Mascara towards my benefit Roller Lash. I still love my Better Than Sex mascara deeply, but it's started to become a little dry so will be taking this with me instead as it gives great long lashes!

Eyebrows: I'm taking along my Wet 'n Wild eyebrow kit as I seemed to have misplaced my No7 one somewhere! In honestly, I prefer taking "cheaper" powder products with me on holiday just because you never know when the product might smash in travel! Of course I wouldn't go anywhere without my Maybelline Brow Drama to keep the brows in place.

Face

Foundation: For the face, it's no surprise that I'm taking along my Nars Sheer Glow foundation in Mont Blanc. Is there any other that I use? It's staying power and coverage is perfect for the long days out being a tourist and I wouldn't go anywhere without it!

Concealer: My concealer of choice has to be the Maybelline instant anti-age effect concealer in 01 light. My collection lasting perfection one has run out and as this provides great coverage and is incredibly moisturizing I think it will do the trick for under the eyes and concealing any blemishes!
Blush: Sleek in Flushed. I've been absolutely loving this blusher and have been wearing it constantly since I picked it up. It's compact and a stunning shade that will go with any of my makeup looks during the weekend away.

Bronzer: I wouldn't go anywhere without my favourite Bourjois chocolate bronzer in light. Fun fact. I don't actually own any other bronzers. This is my only one. What in earth is wrong with you?! I find it really hard to find a bronzer that doesn't make me look overly powdered or muddy and this one just works for me! If anyone has any suggestions for any other bronzers I need to try please let me know!

Contour: Lastly, my contour kit which is also a Sleek product in "light". As this comes with both a lovely brown shade for contouring and a gorgeous highlighter it's perfect for traveling and doesn't take up too much space. I tend to use this product nearly everyday for contouring and it just blends very nicely and doesn't look too muddy either.

Lips

This I have to say I'm the most proud of. Two lipsticks. Claps for Caroline. Heck yes. For my "everyday" out and about I'm wearing my Rimmel Kate Moss 08 lipstick. I know shocker. Incase I'm wanting to be a little bit more out there, maybe in the evenings I've taken along my Rimmel Kate Moss 107 too as it's always nice to mix things up yeah?

Brushes
Real Techniques Complexion Sponge
Real Techniques Powder Brush
Zoeva 126 Luxe Cheek Finish
Zoeva 109 Luxe Face Paint
Zoeva 317 Wing Liner
Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease
Zoeva 234 Luxe Smoky Shader

I have to say. I'm pretty darn proud. I know this post seems excessively long, like jeez do you need that much for 3 nights aka 2 days? Probably not. Yes. But I'm still bringing it! What are some of your travel bag essentials? Before I leave...is there anything I've missed?!
