My Pamper Must-Haves

I'm a sucker for pampering myself so I'll set the scene for you here. So, it's a Sunday, I have the day to myself and I'm ready to relax and here are my essentials. Basically ignoring the fact that my dissertation is due in two months and I'd rather just ignore it. Simple.

Face masks are one of my favourite pampering products. After a long week I swear my skin is so grey looking I look constantly ill. I have just recently started using the H&M Argan and Rosehip Oil Hydrating Face Mask and I have to say I am impressed. It isn't a peel-off which usually I love due to the peeling zombie feeling yeah you know the one but instead is a clay mask. The packaging is great because it isn't too bulky or messy at all as it comes in a cute little tub!

Naturally a pamper evening wouldn't be complete with a Lush bath. You know me and my lush products! I love taking baths but on particular "pamper evenings" I prefer going for lavender scented bubble bars/bath bombs as they are more calming and relaxing to me. My go-to ones would be French Kiss and the beautiful Twilight bath bomb! Utterly divine.

After my bath of course comfortable pyjamas are a must (these are from Primark) and I love to do a little nail/toenail painting to set me up for the week. I love the Maybelline Express and Superstay polishes as they have great staying power!

After applying a face mask I love reading either a good old glossy magazine or a few chapters of the book I'm currently reading. It's taken me an absolute age to get anywhere in this book whilst being at university so me-time finally gives me the chance to find out what exactly does happen to Maggie in LA. I also love a good Glamour magazine as I can always take a look at the makeup section on the best nail polishes and trends this season!

If I'm feeling ultra lazy and can't even be bothered to read (yup, this happens) I will pop on a movie. Nothing screams "Lazy Sunday" to me than a James Bond movie which is an avid Sunday tradition at home, basically it's the only thing my family can agree on watching together without throwing remote controls at each other, ahhh the memories of Christmas 2010. If I'm feeling something a little less intense I'm always up for a rom-com. I tend to stay clear from TV shows as they are more a chilled evening etc type of thing in my mind!

Lastly, what lazy pamper day would be complete without some ambience. Candles are of course an absolute must in my life. I still have my Yankee Candle Cinnamon Stick candle burning as its all-round one of my favourite scents ever. Every now and again I've been lighting my Yankee Strawberry Buttercream one. Although it is heavily sweet which I'm not particularly a fan of, it does make my room smell a little less like food that seems to waft from the kitchen all the way down the hall and into my bedroom. I know they may seem like such an insignificant detail but for a candle lover, they really just make your room a lot more calming and relaxing.

So there you have it! My Pamper Must-Haves. I would love to hear what your pamper must haves are, including cosy socks and maybe some tea? Let me know!
