Sunday Pancakes

It's Monday tomorrow and you probably feel as if you want to curl up in a ball and die. It is at this moment that I would suggest, pancakes. Nothing in life beats the pancake. Pancake mix is something that my dad would never condemn and would most likely throw out the window if I brought it into the house. He was a chef.  These are Belgian pancakes, quite different from American pancakes or French crepes, but they are gooooood!

For the pancake mix

120g of flour
1 tsp teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
2 Eggs
1 tbsp sugar
8 tbsp water

Toppings

Total 0% Greek Yoghurt
Raspberries
Agave Nectar

This has to be my favourite type of pancake topping by far. Obviously as you can tell, it does fill you up very quickly but is also, in comparison to sugar and nutella, a bit healthier as an alternative toppings. I would love to now what your favourite type of pancake is. Are you a crepe or an American pancake type of person? Lemon & Sugar? Nutella? Cheese? Let me know in the comments below!

  10. Hahaha, I can totally relate to the curling up and dying part when Sunday night arrives! Those pancakes look so tasty - they must be a bit thinner than traditional American pancakes since there's water in the mix? Personally I love my pancakes with lemon and honey on top.

    1. Yeah they are a lot thinner! Personally I like thinner pancakes solely on the basis it means I can stomach more and be more greedy hehe! I've never tried honey and lemon together - this could be a new favourite. must try! xx

  11. How did I even miss this post? I've been craving pancakes for a while but in the morning I'm just never bothered to cook anything. These look so delicious though. I don't think I've ever tried Belgium styled pancakes. I lived in Canada for a bit so maple syrup is a must for my pancakes!

    2. Oh I absolutely love maple syrup. Unfortunately in the UK, let's be honest here, it will not be the same Maple Syrup standard that you had! Oh and yeah, most of the time it's brunch when I make these....tad lazy in the morning too haha! xx
