Lush Birthday Goodies

When it comes to buying birthday presents I'm one of those people who is that "easy person to buy for". My friends obviously just get me, and in turn, a lot of Lush products were given to me many hugs and squeezes to my amazing friends!

One of my uni friends had gifted me the Hello Gorgeous gift set and I was so amazed to see so many products that I hadn't yet tried! This included; Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub, Love and Light Hand Cream, Gorgeous Moisturizer, The Comforter & Sex Bomb Bath Bomb. Can you believe I have only tried one of the products in this entire gift box?! The Comforter is one of of those symbolic Lush products. As a massive Ribena fan, this scent is right up my street and you get so many uses out of this ginormous bubble bar!

A product that really caught my eye was the Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub. As I have quite dry skin, and especially when I go back to Switzerland as my parents are overly enthusiastic with the heating, this sounds incredible. I have heard so many people rave about it, especially for those who really suffer with dry skin in the colder months. I love the fresh scent of this product which has this gorgeous citrusy lemon scent! Excited to see and let you all know my thoughts!

My other uni friends gifted me the Bouncy Bunny Shower Jelly, something I have had my eyes on the Lush website for quite a while....how do they just get me?! this is the darnest, cutest Shower Jelly I have ever seen. EVER. I actually struggled to get a photo of this cutie for this blog post as he was a tad slipper but I've linked the website above so you can take a look at him! I love the scent of this product, it smells of just pure orange-goodness. I've never tried any of the shower jellies from Lush so this will be an interesting product to try! Let me know if you've tried any and what your thoughts are!

Still just totally getting me, bath bombs. Praise the bath bombs! I was gifted another Sex Bomb bath bomb (can you believe I haven't tried this one?!), a Butterball (one of my all-time favourites) and a Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb.

I personally love Butterball. I know a lot of people are dissapointed in it as a bath bomb mainly because it doesn't turn your bath water a fantastically bright colour, or creates an array of rainbow colours when it dissolves. However! It is one of the bath bombs that has actual skin-benefits. The rich cocoa butter really hydrates my dry and irritated skin and I adore the smell. Are you a fan of the butterball?

Fluffy Egg seems to me the all-round perfect and darn cutest Easter themed bath bomb. I took a sneaky look on the website and saw the gorgeous bright pink colour this bath bomb turns your bath into and I cannot wait. Although I am not usually a fan of the sweet scents usually, I have to make an exception for this product!

A massive hug and squeeze to my uni friends who spoiled me rotten this Birthday! Have you picked up anything recently from Lush at all? Let me know!

  3. I have tried Sex Bomb and Butterball before, while I enjoyed Sex Bomb, Butterball left my bath tub greasy and I hate having to clean up after a relaxing bath. LOL! You have such brilliant friends who love you, lucky girl!

    1. Oh no! I can't wait to try Sex Bomb as I've never used it but that's a shame about Butterball, hopefully it won't turn mine greasy! xx
