My Favourites: March

This is the favourites post of the month I am most dreading. Mainly because it means March is over. My birthday month. Wah. Regardless of the fact that March was full of dissertation writing, ordering far too many Meat the Greek takeaways and swearing if I heard the word 'piracy' one more time I would run away, it was full of some great beauty favourites. Surely that sentence was far too long.

Clinique Peach Pop Blush

This is no surprise that it has made it's way into my March favourites. Sadly I don't actually own THAT many peach-toned blushers. I own ridiculous amounts of Autumn/Winter ones, but seriously, I think this is the only Spring/Summer blush I own this will have to change very soon. This blush made it's way into my Spring/Easter Essentials blog post and has been the singular blush I've been reaching for. It's a gorgeously pigmented blush that adds a stunning spring glow to your look. Unfortunately my poor little blush has fallen out of the pot so I have to be very delicate but it's a product that if broke, I would pay for a new one.

I feel like this is such a Marmite product. You either love it or you hate it. I guess for me, because I was trying to budget a lot more efficiently this month, I picked up this mascara in a whim but generally have been loving it. I am much more of a clumpy (but not overly) mascara kind of girl, instead of the whole separated 'spider-legged' look. I personally don't think the formula is very wet at all (The Pupa Pupalash Energizer Mascara I mentioned here was a lot worse). I quite like trying out new mascaras so don't know if I will repurchase as I definitely want to get back my trusty Too Faced Better Than Sex one, but for those on a budget, I love it!

NIVEA Pearl & Beauty Roll Deodorant

Is it totally weird to put a deodorant in a monthly favourites? Meh. Let's flood in the over TMI's and unnecessary comments about my over sweating problems I sweat a lot. Grey, colour and well anything apart from Black and White is my enemy. I had a really bad allergic reaction to a Dove one where I actually had hives all over my arm was super sexy and went to Tesco to basically pick up the cheapest deodorant that wasn't Dove sorry Dove. Weirdly enough out of a whim this deodorant has worked wonders. Now I do suffer from Hyperhidrosis (like literally been diagnosed by the doctor, not cute right?) so this doesn't completely deter it at all, but it has worked better than most other medical and "extra extra strong" deodorants. Go NIVEA!

Seeing as this palette is quite pink-heavy, this has slowly been making it into my routine more and more during March. I love Dust and Burnout and it has such a lovely array of perfect nude eyeshadows. Even more so, it's been my staple for going out post-dissertation night-outs. This product isn't necessarily one I do reach for crazy considering the price I paid for it but I'm making myself use it more and more as we nearer to the warmer months!

Now I don't want to go too into detail about this product as I have a full review in the works, however, this has recently become my go-to Spring time foundation. I love the lightweight coverage and the fact that it's a drugstore foundation which finally meets the needs of us dry-skin peeps!

What have you been loving in March? Send me along you March favourite posts too!

  2. I have a Clinique pop lipstick which I love so I'm dying to try out one of the blushes, peach is such a perfect colour with a tan! The Maybelline mascara has been spoken about so much in the beauty world so that's another thing I need to pick up. When I bought my naked 3 I thought I would use it so much more than I have, I'm going to have to make a conscious effort to reach for it in the warmer months.

  8. Omg I legit think I need to try every single of one these products! I've been toying with the idea of the mascara for so long now but like you, nothing beats the Too Faced Better Than Sex <3 I lolled quite about about the deodorant part (apart from the srsnss ofc) because you literally type my thoughts out loud haha! I love Roll On's, they are so effective. The one I've been religiously using is Mitchum, it looks a bit granny but it works wonders for the pits!

  12. I love Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, love it more than my Chanel! I was tempted to pick up that Maybelline mascara but the mixed reviews stopped me. I have very short, sparse and fine lashes, i don't think this mascara is suitable for me. :-(

  15. Healthy Mix is my all time favourite foundation, just does what I want it to do for half the price of my h/e ones. I can't wait for my Naked 3 palette to come either, I've seen everyone have it lately and couldn't resist. Heard such good things about the Too Faced mascaras x
