My Spring/Easter Essentials

Okay, confession. Pretty sure at some point I made a statement that Autumn was my favourite month. Although I am a fan of the crisp leaves and Autumnal lips, seeing as my birthday month is March and fricking Easter Eggs are available in every shop, Spring is a close winner. I thought I would pop a post of all my Spring/Easter essentials that are both random essentials as well as beauty, because there was no way I wasn't including chocolate in a post to do about Easter. I fricking love chocolate.

Beauty

I've raved about ElegantTouch on my blog numerous times, and seeing as they appeared a lot on both my Instagram plug in and my blog plug in x2 I thought it was about time they made a reappearance. These gorgeous nails were so kindly sent to me and I actually cannot wait to wear them. I'm sorry can we just, admire how darn sweet the daisy and sheep print are?! I know fake nails are not really everyone's cup of tea, but I think they really brighten up and add that little bit of something-something to your everyday #notd.

If fake nails aren't your thing, I've got the nail polish for you. Although I will shortly be bringing out a post on my favourite spring polishes, I've been adoring wearing this Barry M Eat My Dust nailpolish. It's bright and also so affordable. Barry M carry the best drugstore friendly priced nailpolishes in my opinion. This polish is a little old now, and I will have to buy a new bottle as it's starting to uhm... smell a little? Is that normal? but regardless, it's a shade that I would and will constantly be repurchasing!

Away with the red brick and berry blushers, as I have now brought out my all-time favourite Spring time blush. Not only is the packaging of this blusher just absolutely divine and before I hacked at it with my brushes, had the most gorgeous design of a daisy which you can see here. This is such a lovely dusty peach colour, perfect for those with either a much fairer complexion or one with freckles. I really find this blush compliments any bright toned makeup look. Although quite on the pricey side for £17, I would so recommend it, the pigmentation and blendability is second to none.

Lush Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb

Now of course I couldn't resist adding in a Lush product in a essentials blog post now could I? Although there are such a wonderful collection of Lush easter products out there, the Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb was one of the many Lush gifts that I was given for my birthday and the one that shouted Easter! the most out of them all. I'm obviously obsessed with the colour, and the fact that I am now home and can actually take baths now!

Random Favourites

Cadbury's Mini Eggs

I swear these hit the shops straight after Christmas. I practically consider these their own food group as they are so darn good. Cadbury Mini Eggs will and forever be, my favourite easter chocolate. I can and have eaten bags at a time. It's the crunchy sugar shell that I just adore and the fact that they are small-ish so you feel as if you haven't even eaten that much chocolate, even if you have devoured the entire bag. Result!

Flowers

When I was working in London and had money and a Lidl readily available to me, I would buy myself flowers all the time I know, I'm so sad. There was something so nice about having fresh flowers in my bedroom and in my flat, I felt like it automatically made the rooms more airey and brighter. However, now that I've moved back onto being a student budget I don't buy myself flowers enough, but when I do, it's in Spring time. Tulips are my all-time favourite flowers as I love how colourful they are and how fresh they smell!

Candles

Oh how could I not include candles in an essentials post! I've put away my cinnamon stick and christmas eve scented ones and have now delved into the fresh and floral scents. I was gifted these by my housemate on my birthday (how did she know?!) and of course Yankee Candles are just the best. Fresh cut rose and Pink Grapefruit are my favourite out of the collection and are totally gorgeous!
