Milani Cosmetics Haul

Milani cosmetics is a brand which has been on my radar for an absolute age. As my frequent readers will know, KathleenLights is one of my all time favourite YouTuber's and constantly raves about this brand and some of their products. It was to my knowledge that we couldn't get hold of Milani in the UK, that was until, Joyce from Joyce Lau wrote a haul blog post stating that we could now get it in the UK. Safe to say, I pretty much freaked out. I knew there were so many products I wanted to get my hands on, but thought I would do a mini-tester haul to see how I liked the products first. Spoiler, I'm in love.

This product is one that I think Kathleen raves about the most on her channel and knew I wanted to get my hands on it. I tend to have quite a few pink and berry toned blushes, but none that are really natural looking or with "highlighting" properties within them. I am utterly obsessed. Being a baked blush means the texture of this blush is second to none. Honestly, I don't have a blush this creamy and buttery in my collection. It blends like an absolute dream, and the colour is so so stunning, I cannot stop swatching it! For someone with darker skin, I would say this colour be a gorgeous peach-toned highlight, whereas for paler girls like myself, this acts as a natural radiant pop of colour. I'm honestly so obsessed. What I didn't know about this product is that under the pan itself is a little mirror and brush as well which is so perfect for traveling!

Firstly can we just admire the beauty inside of the pan. I mean, I'm in an actual state of awe. The Illuminating Face Powders can be used as a highlighter, bronzer and blush - all in one. I actually don't think I own any type of "all-in-one" product, so this is definitely going to have to be a bit of a tester-product for me. In order for best results it says that a kabuki styled brush is best (now got to go look and see if I own one of those!) but any help on actually where to apply it for the best results would be much appreciated! I will let you know how I get on with these!

What would a haul be without more liquid lipsticks which I seriously don't need more of. Another product heavily talked about by Kathleen I chose two shades I thought would be perfect for this Spring/Summer time. One quite a deep toned nude, with some pink/light purple undertones (Allure) and Cherish being a dark fuchsia pink shade. I am absolutely loving these already. Although I've only been playing around with them for a little bit and don't want to spoil too much for a post coming out in a bit, the formula is amazing, they aren't as drying as some liquid lipsticks, they dry quickly and more importantly, the staying power is incredible! I ate an apple as a test. The one thing that I would change is the applicator, the doe-foot is quite big and therefore you have to be really precise when applying the product.

So far I am so so happy with my new Milani purchases and finally being able to say and blog that I own some. I can see these being much loved and appearing in quite a few favourites posts already! Have you tried anything from Milani? Let me know what some of your favourite products are below!

  9. I picked up quite a bit when i heard about the Uk website. I already had the Illuminating face powder - its so pretty, isn't it? I just use it as blush. I picked up a Amore lip cream but i wasn't a fan, it dried up and went flakey on me. Maybe it was the shade. Lumionso is firm favourite of mine to xx

    1. Thank you for the tip! I've been loving it as an "all-over-the face" powder as well as a blush, it just gives you so much life! I agree that they are a little dry, but I found if I gave my lips a little TLC like a lip scrub before hand it wasn't drying at all! xx
