Blushers Perfect For 'Late Spring'

As I'm sat here in the library attempting to figure out what to do today's post on my friend Evie advised me that since Spring is nearly over, and that if I want to post anything Spring inspired, I should get going. I have to say, blushers to me are the prettiest of all products in the pan. There is just something about their pigmentation and the way they catch the light that makes them oh so so beautiful. I've collected some of my much-loved Blushers that are perfect for as Evie called it, "Late Spring" (even though it did snow a few days ago) and cannot wait to share with you their beauty.

Stila Custom Color Blush in Adjusting Corals

Woah this is an oldie. I picked this blush up last June and appeared in a very early haul here and I cannot believe I haven't yet featured it on my blog since my september post on My Favourite Blushers look at that, two plug ins in one sentence. I have to say this blush is one of those ones that you will either love or hate. I have to say I'm someone who is a little bit careful when I bring this one out as the pigmentation is out of this world. Although, it does blend very easily and it's got quite a creamy texture. The shade to me is far from a coral shade, and really is just a bright pink with the tiniest orange undertones which I think is due to the gold speckles. Be careful though, on every single website photo this blush looks a lot more orange toned whereas it is quite a true-pink blush. I really rate this blush, especially the fact that it looks gorgeous with a tan, which is the shade I recommend you be when wearing this! Otherwise it could wash you out and just be that bit too .... pink!

Left to Right: Stila 'Adjusting Corals' and Clinique 'Peach Pop'

This has definitely been a favourite of mine on the blog recently, I've raved about it in quite a few favourites and including My Spring/Easter Essentials blogpost. I don't know how many times I can rave on about how this is the most gorgeous peach toned blush ever. Ever. Although my blush has sadly fallen out of the pan, it's still in perfect condition. Although a bit more on the pricey side considering the size of the pan, it's totally worth it considering how well this blush blends and really does give that natural pop of colour ideal for my skin tone! This blush would look stunning on both darker and paler skin as it's still a very natural looking pink-peach shade.

One of my newest blushers in my collection is this beauty. A peach toned blush which has stunning highlighter qualities. Being a baked blush it has the best consistency out of all my blushers, it blends so incredibly well. If you're someone who loves a very natural blush, but one that still gives you a glow, look no further. I can imagine this working on so many skin tones and seriously guys, I know there aren't many times where I say the word holy grail, but holy grail. holy flipping grail. Sadly whilst I'm writing this blog post it is out of stock on the website, but seriously if you can get your hands on it once it comes back in stock, do!

Smashbox Duo in Soft Lights

This product was in my LookIncredible Beauty Subscription Box in April and although it really bugs me that this product is discontinued it's such a stunning blush I just had to share it, and I believe there may still be some of them available on Amazon, so if you're looking for that perfect 'travel duo' blush and highlight, this is it. This is that perfectly pink blush. It's such a pale pink shade which is completely matte, something that I'm so easily drawn to as an 'everyday shade' as I know not everyone is a fan of sheen/glittery blushers. Once again, another blush that blends so well and is second in my "creamiest of blushers" in my collection! Love love love!

Another new addition to my collection is this gorgeous Face Powder. Originally when I had bought this product I didn't really know how I would go about using it. Is it a powder for all over the face? A highlighter? A blush? In all honesty, it's become a multi-purpose product. I love to gently dust this all of my face if I'm looking a little pale and want some more colour, but I also love using this as a blush. This is one of those very subtle blushes, the lighest pigmentation out of all of them. This steers very much to the "baby pink" side of things, truly being a girly blush. Milani is slowly becoming a favourite of mine when it comes to their products quality and now that it's available in the UK I really recommend my fellow UK bloggers (and American) go check them out!

Swatches Left to Right: Stila 'Adjusting Corals', Clinique Cheek Pop in 'Peach', Smashbox Duo in Soft Lights, Milani Illuminating Face Powder 'Beauty's Touchy' and Milani Baked Blush 'Luminoso'
I would love anymore recommendations perfect for Spring time! Let me know in the comments what some of your favourite blushers are!

  8. I absolutely love blush too. Loved your picks :) I've heard that they discontinued Milani's Luminoso. I hope not but I'm currently travelling in the States and can't find it! It's a shame because it's one of those blushes that so many people rave about x

  10. I've heard so much good things about Luminoso! I think I would love the Smashbox blush. They recently came out with a "contour" palette with 3 shades, but I quote-on-quote "contour" because they all look like blush shades. I really want one of them though!
