New in my Makeup Stash

I'm excited to be sharing some new products which have made their way into my makeup stash, it's safe to say I squealed when I saw that my feelunique order had arrived, and finally put my brothers birthday gift voucher present to use! The first product I did pick up wasn't from FeelUnique, but from Superdrug and it's the L'Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation. If you follow me on Twitter, you'd know I had my eye on this product the first time my favourite YouTubers KathleenLights and Rachelloves mentioned them. They took a while to finally make their way over to the UK and was happy to see that the product was a little cheaper than in Switzerland so the waiting was worth it! I've tried the product a couple of times already, and if you're someone with dry skin who loves a light coverage foundation, this is incredible! It's beautifully dewy, and I actually like using the sponge applicator. I'm going to be doing a full review on the product so keep an eye out!

The next product I picked up was the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Sun Kissed . This product was out of stock for ages and I can see why. This is that perfect matte bronzer, it's creamy and blends amazingly. It's a gorgeous natural bronzer for the Summer time. I would say though, that the packaging is a little flimsy from what I expect from Urban Decay, quite light and plastic feeling which shocks me as this is quite a pricey bronzer at £20, but still am so happy to have picked it up!

I've been dying to try the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray since using my friends and loving how it actually set my makeup. I used this for the first time last night, ugrh yes I am writing this mildly hungover and I loved how it made my face feel. Is that weird? It didn't feel tacky or sticky at all, and from what I saw, it really did a great job at setting my makeup!

I then picked up two of the Mua Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquers, in the shades Zest and Passion. I heard these rivaled the Kylie Jenner Lip kits, and although I couldn't tell you as I haven't tried them, I am a little bit disappointed in these products. For £3 each I was excited that perhaps I would find a great drugstore priced liquid lipstick, but these are quite drying and although the pigmentation is there, the formula really isn't.

Lastly is another product I've had on my wishlist for an age. Everyone in the vlogosphere and the blogosphere has been raving about the Maybelline Lash Sensation Mascara. I picked mine up in the shade Very Black, as I love a good strong black mascara. I've used this mascara a couple of times already and this already trumps my other Maybelline mascara I raved about. This gives you such long curly lashes, it's incredible!

So there we have it! A couple of new products in my makeup stash which I can't wait to give proper full reviews on them and let you know how I get on in the next couple of weeks! Let me know what's new in your makeup stashes and what your thoughts are on any of the above products!

    1. Eeek! It's quite a unique product concept and I do think it would only really work for people with dry skin otherwise it can appear quite greasy! Isn't it just gorge! xx

  3. I love Kathleen's videos, she's one of my favourite YouTubers too! The packaging for the urban decay bronzer looks pretty but it must be so annoying that it's flimsy!

    1. Isn't she amazing! I love her. It's not that it's THAT flimsy, but in comparison to the rest of Urban Decay's packaging I do think it could be a bit more robust and heavy! xx

  4. I just picked up the Lash Sensational mascara, I love it! I think I would like the L'Oreal foundation as well but I've heard the cushion dries out quickly.

  6. Awesome haul, girl! That l'oreal foundation looks so interesting with that sponge-to-sponge applicator that I've seen in a lot of asian beauty products. I really want to try it, but not so sure how it will work with my warm-weather-oily-skin. And that maybelline mascara is my hg! I love it to death!

    1. Thank you Jasmine! I personally think it's a product that would really only work for dry-skin individuals, but don't hold back, do try it and prove me wrong! Oh my goodness, it's definitely a good'n! xx

  9. The bronzer sounds lovely, especially for the summer. I have always wanted to try the Loreal Lumi Cushion but I've heard really mixed reviews about it, which is making me shy away from it. Yes, definitely do a review on it soon!

    1. It's so stunning, it surpasses all the rest of my bronzers! I think it's a product that would only work for a couple of people which is a shame! xx

  10. I have used the MUA Lip products before and I found they would crumble after wearing them a while. I got two of the highlighters from the UD Range, I didn't get the bronzer as I didn't know if it would work on my pale skin, it looks gorgeous though!

    1. Ah glad someone agrees with me! It's such a shame! Ohh defintiely think about getting sun-kissed, I have quite pale skin as well, and because it's matte it blends really easily into the skin and it's amazing! xx

  11. I picked the L'Oreal foundation too - I'm loving it too :) I haven't tried it with the applicator it comes with, I'll have to give it ago! I'm huge fan of the lash sensational mascara as well. That bronzer looks so pretty - I'll have to try and get my hands on it :) xx

  14. The makeup setting spray sounds great, and I'd love to try it because I'm so curious about using a setting spray rather than a primer. I also tried the Mua Velvet lip lacquers and I honestly I liked them at first, but they just get so dry after an hour or so x

    1. I have quite dry skin and find it hard to find a primer that works for my skin so this setting spray works really nicely! They do get so dry! Have to agree, such a shame though, thought they would be a great drugstore find! xx

    1. I know what you mean. Although I can't completely say it won't work with oily skin (because I can't test it), from my personal experiences, it gives such a dewy look I think it could end up emphasizing oily skin xx

    1. I was a big fan of Better Than Sex but I do think this mascara is such a close dupe, although I have to admit I prefer the wand as it's a bit softer in the Too Faced mascara. Thank you so much! xx

    1. I know I loved the colours! I'm going to do some trial and error and see if I can get them to work without drying out so much! I've heard mixed reviews on the L'Oreal one for dry skin, so that deterred me a little, but reckon a lot of products are skin-type specific. xx
