Feel Unique Haul

It's been a while since I've picked up anything from Feel Unique and I felt as if I needed a couple of new products to talk about on the blog recently. Saying that, I basically picked up three products that I needed to desperately replace and therefore only got myself two new products. Such is the life of someone wanting to save money in London.

Firstly I picked up my much loved First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I've raved about this moisturizer on the blog so many times and once I had finished my third tube, I realized I had quite a few testers and big pots of moisturizers I desperately needed to finish off and refused to purchase my holy grail. Massive mistake. My skin has really missed this moisturizer because it really does wonders for anyone with dry/patchy/flakey/sensitive skin. I really want to try loads more from the First Aid range, I hear such great things about their cleansers and radiance facial pads.

Another favourite repurchase is the trust Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara in 'Intense Black'. If you haven't tried out this drugstore holy grail mascara I seriously reccomend you hop onto the bandwagon with this one! This mascara has featured loads on blog ranging from monthly favourites and also in My Favourite Under £10 Drugstore Beauty Products blog post. It's an amazing mascara, and I actually my mum picked it up and she has been loving it (although annoyingly I had got her a Charlotte Tilbury mascara for her birthday which was the next day). It gives both length and volume providing with clumpier-ish lashes (but not those horrendous 100 layers of mascara type clumpy).

Another repurchase was my good old Maybelline Precise Liquid Liner, Around a year ago I wouldn't be caught dead without wearing eyeliner, however I've started to really prefer not wearing it unless I'm going out in the evening or an event or something. If I do wear eyeliner, it's hands down this one. I'm so bloomin' useless when applying eyeliner that this just gives me the easiest application and it's very pigmented. Although it does dry out (but takes a good 3 months to do so) it's highly affordable!

A new product I've wanted to try is Tanya Burr's Eyeshadow Palette 'Birthday Suit'. When I saw this palette in her YouTube video announcing her new products, I was a little apprehensive. I'm not one for trying out or purchasing YouTuber products, mainly because I do feel as if they are a little overpriced and over hyped. However, I thought I would give this a go because  as a nude/warm toned eyeshadow lover, this should ultimately be the perfect palette for me. On first impressions, i have to say the packaging is a little on the cheap side, and I can see the pans coming lose from the palette. I will say though that I love how compact it is and I will for sure be taking this with me when I go home as it fits so nicely into your makeup bag. On the swatches, at the moment I think they are quite creamy and blendable, but am going to do a whole review on the palette here so keep your eyes peeled!

Another new product is the Rimmel Brow This Way Eyebrow Kit . Sadly my Wet 'n Wild eyebrow kit has come to an end and I saw this on the website and thought, oh what a bargain! I picked up the shade medium brown, which I am apprehensive that it may be a bit ashy for my brows but I have to say it's a very dinky little kit. It comes with a wax and powder formula, a spoolie and a double ended  angled brush. I most likely won't be using the brushes as I have my Zoeva angled brush that I use, I may keep the spoolie and brush anyways for "on the go". At first I was a little shocked at how small the product was, but for £3.99 you can't complain and it was a mix for match on Maybelline and Rimmel products as well!

So there we have it! A couple of bits from Feel Unique. I will make sure to let you know how I get on with the palette and the brow kit! Let me know if there's anything I should add from the above brands in my next payday haul!

  2. I adore the Maybelline Lash Sensational. I look forward to the review about the TB eyeshadow palette, I'm always a bit wary when it comes to Youtuber's products because sometimes the reviews are a bit too flattering!

  3. I agree with you, products made from 'youtubers' or personalities like that can be very over priced just because some people are willing to pay lots for their favourites products! - That said though, the Tanya Burr eyeshadow shades look beautiful, blendable shadows are always a plus! - Great Post! xxx

  4. I used the Maybelline Lash Sensational for the first time the other day and it made my lashes so clumpy, I'm going to give it another go and hope it's just because it was new though! I also recently bought the Tanya Burr palette, the shades are so pretty and I love it but the glittery brown isn't very pigmented which is a bit disappointing x

    1. It does take a couple of days to settle I have to admit with the maybelline mascara! It needs to dry out a little bit before it finishes! I totally agree with you on the glittery brown one, it's a little bit squiffy and crumbly! xx

    1. Will be up by the end of this week! I'm always skeptical on their products, especially Zoella's bath range, like £6 for some bath soap is pretty darn expensive! xx

    1. Will be up by the end of the week! I really want to try Martha Moo, apparently it's one of those shades that does look different on everyone which means it's quite hard to see whether or not I would buy it on a review! xx

  7. Thanks for this great haul, lovely. It's too bad when a brand (or a YouTuber in this case) saves on the packaging but at least the quality is good & it's usable :) Must check out that ultra repair cream, it sounds incredible!
