Lifestyle Favourites

I'm constantly writing monthly beauty favourites but I feel like there are always a couple of lifestyle favourites which I miss out on writing. I'm going to be going through a bit of a "spending ban" moment so although there still will be beauty posts on the blog, I will be doing a little bit more on the lifestyle and baking front!

If you haven't started watching The Crown on Netflix you must be hiding underneath a rock. I'm not a big fan of periodic dramas or historical fictional television (Downton Abbey and The Tudors just doesn't fascinate me) but I was really into watching Victoria and when I found out they had released The Crown on Netflix I was seriously excited. It's a biopic drama television series following the story and early reign of Queen Elizabeth II. I found it so interesting and learnt about so many events that occurred during her reigning which I had no idea about - really recommend!  My flatmate and I have literally also been OBSESSED with the series The Killing. My mum recommended it as it's all on Netflix and seriously in one weekend we nearly finished the first season. So immense.

Another recent favourite is my Ban.do 2017 Organizer. This is actually an organizer that goes from the August 2016 until December 2017 and is literally the post perfect thing ever. Not only does this calendar contain sticks, yup that's right, stickers (can you even tell I'm 22?), it's one that just keeps me organized and I think if you're looking for a perfect diary you have to take a look at their website!

In 2016 I made it my mission to start reading a lot more and something that really fuelled my love for reading again was reading crime/thriller books. I read Behind Closed Doors by B.A Paris last year and was by far one of my all time favourite books, but since then I've been loving reading books like; The Couple Next Door, My Husband's Wife and Find Her. I've always loved reading romantic/chic-lits etc, but I think I've become a lot more drawn to this new genre!

Let me know what some of your recent Lifestyle favourites are and if you've been watching anything/using anything that you know I'll love!
