The Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

I have been lusting over the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer for an absolute age after hearing every YouTuber and Blogger from the States talk about how incredible it is. I conclude, yes it is pretty incredible.

My amazing flatmate picked this up for me after trailing through 5 CVS' in LA and I have not stopped using it since. Firstly let's talk packaging. It's definitely not my favourite in terms of it being extremely garish and actually quite bulky when you only get 0.38 Oz of product. It does however come with a brush and a mirror compact in it which is quite handy for on-the-go, although I never use the brushes that come with the product.

Now onto the important part, the product. Firstly what hits you with this product is the scent. Now I'm not a fan of coconut scented products, I actually heave at the smell, but I actually adore this product. There is a perfect balance between vanilla and coconut and this product just oozes of Summer and cocktails by the beach.

One of my gripes with the product is that there are only two shades in the collection, Light Bronzer which obviously I own and Bronzer. I personally think when it comes to products like this, there needs to be more diversity and shade range out there.

The Physicials Formula Butter Bronzer is an ultra-luxurious bronzer, infused with Murumuru Butter which is what creates it's unique buttery consistency. This is so soft and I am so surprised that my brush doesn't cause a lot of kick-up in product because of how soft it is. I currently use my Spectrum A05 Precision Blush* to apply it and I use it on top of contour to add warmth whilst also applying it all over my face for a generous glow look. This has a slight sheen to it without adding any glitter so really does lightly give your face a certain glow.

Let me know if you've tried out the butter bronzer and your thoughts! I've also just managed to get my hands on a Butter Blush from Physicians Formula so watch out for a review on that too!

  3. I'll admit that the packaging is putting me off a teensy bit, but it does sound like a lovely product! Have you seen that concealer they sell with the little bow on it? That's on my shopping list for when I head to San Fran next month! xx

  13. Ah, this packaging is so ugly but I've heard so much about the product that I'm almost willing to overlook it. I wish Physician's Formula was easier to find outside the US, though!

  14. I bloody love this bronzer. I purchased both shades. It's so sheer but it's noticable and pretty on the skin. I depotted mine the other day and placed them in an empty color pop magnetic palette.
