A Mini Lush Haul

I can't actually tell you the last time I did a lush haul. Considering it's Summer here and has been pretty hot she says on the rankest day ever I don't particularly like taking baths in the heat, much more of a Winter time thing. However, I was in Brighton last weekend and I felt as if I couldn't leave without doing a cheeky little trip to the shop.

Firstly I picked up my trusty Ultrabland Cleanser. I don't really use any other cleanser than this. I have so many miniatures and other ones I am desperate to try out, but I know that this is my holy-grail and fail-safe cleanser so I don't really try any more out. As someone with dry skin, ultrabland is amazing at not making your skin feel parched after cleansing. The almond oil breaks down the foundation and mascara and leaves you with a soft base for you to work with the next day.

Next I decided to pick up the Cupcake Fresh Face Mask. I've actually been disappointed a couple of times with Lush's face masks and I have to say, I'm not quite sure on this one. Unfortunately I was a bit of an idiot and tried this out for the first time after trying out another nose/skin product and my skin has been so dry and flakey I'm gutted but I can't work out which product has done it. I personally don't think it was this product because it contains cocoa powder so should nourish, but I think I need to give this a bit more of a try out before making my mind up!

Of course I can't go to Lush without picking up a couple of bath bombs. Firstly I picked up my all time favourite Butterball. I know, most peoples least favourite. To me I would much rather have a bath bomb that moisturises and has skin benefits rather than being colourful and filled with glitter etc. I absolutely love the Butterball because I always come out of the bath feeling soft and I adore the scent as well, it's so cosy and reminds me of winter evenings. I then picked up the Milky Bath which I did not know they did in a soap version too, cute! and I can't wait to give this a try again. I've only used it once and like Butterball, I like the cocoa butter and milk powder.

Another successful mini trip to Lush I think, I'll keep you posted on the face mask which hopefully I will end up loving!

  6. I really couldn't get on with the ultrabland cleanser, I think my skins too oily for the formulation of it sadly!

  7. I almost picked up the cupcake face mask but decided it was too expensive for such a small pot... I'm kind of glad I skipped it now after reading this haha! x
