My Wedding Guest Makeup Look

I'm super excited because this weekend my cousin is getting married, which calls for a couple of things; pretty dresses, makeup, drinks and one big giant family reunion. After pondering a billion times on what to call this post 'wedding makeup look' made it sound as if I was the bride, I thought I'd do a little post on what I'll be wearing on my face on Saturday for their big day. I'm wearing of course my flatmates navy dress with dusky pink shoes so I've decided I would like a bright and fresh makeup look for the day, something that's not too heavy or dark.

For my base I'll be most likely wearing my bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream which I did a full review here. I love this base and it will be perfect if it's that little bit hotter because it feels lightweight but still manages to last for a good length of time throughout the day. To set my makeup, I'll be using the Milani Illuminating Face Powder 'Beauty's Touch'  to set my face as I'd rather go for a natural 'all over' bronze and blusher than a harsh contour for this look as I always find using blush and contour on a light base, a bit odd looking. In order to get a bit of a glow for both the top of my cheeks and under my brow-bone I'll be using the beautiful Sleek Sostice Highlighting Palette which is just a faultless product!

For my eyes I'll be using my much loved Nars Eyeshadow Duo 'Alhambra' for a dusky rose gold eye. The left shade will be my all-over-the-lid shade and using a matte brown in my crease I'll blend it out so it's much more of a softer look. I'll also use the L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim Eyeliner but trying to ensure that it's only a very thin eyeliner line on my eyelids just so it doesn't overtake the entire eyeshadow look. For big lashes I'll be using my favourite Maybelline Lash Sensational  as I love how big and fluttery my lashes look with this.

For lips I'm going with my all time favourite combination being Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Pillow Talk and on top to make it a bit less matte and more glamorous, my Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lip 'Fairy Floss'  which ties in with the pink eyeshadow really well.

Let me know what you're favourite look is as a wedding guest! I'll try and get a photo of the finished look on Saturday as well!
