Boots No7 Haul

No7 is a brand I've been meaning to try out a lot more from for ages. My mum is a massive advocate of No7 beauty, she literally has three bottles of the Stay Perfect foundation in her cupboards at home and I'm pretty sure the only blusher she ever uses is a No7 one.

I was on the hunt for a new foundation as I've been noticing my foundation going insanely patchy on my nose lately. KathleenLights hauled the No7 Lift and Luminate Foundation and raved about it so I knew I had to try it. What I love about No7 is that they colour match you with some fancy gadget, meaning you don't need to drag someone to the drugstore with you to help you decide if the foundation is too orange or white. I was matched at Cool Vanilla which fits me absolutely perfectly, I am so impressed. I know sadly I'm going to have to get re-matched in a couple of months because I'm sure I'll get paler when we head into, dare I say it, Christmas time.

It's a satin finish, very dewy and leaves me looking glowy all day. This foundation is honestly incredible for us dry skin girls, I thought nothing could compete with my L'Oreal True Match but this has totally trumped it. I adore the finish because it gives me a healthy glow, but I don't look shiny at all. The product stays on my nose the entire time (I don't have to powder midway through the day which is a rare occurrence with drugstore foundations) and even better it has SPF15 in it, another rarity in drugstore foundations! I find this best applies with a beauty blender and I don't actually use as many pumps as I usually do, maybe around 2? So far I am really impressed and think this has got to be my favourite foundation so far, those with dry skin I highly recommend!

Because the 3-4-2 offer was going on, my flatmate picked up a Stay Perfect foundation which meant we could then pick up another gorgeous product. The No7 Shimmer Palette Rose called to us. A blush dupe version of the very much loved Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, is this gorgeous palette. I tend to use this as a blush topper, adding a little bit more of a sheen to your complexion. I'll wear one of my more matte blushers and then with a blush brush apply a minimum amount. However if I'm going out, I'll use a giant fluffy brush to add a little lift to my complexion all over the face.

So far I'm very impressed with No7 and will for sure be trying out more from it! Let me know if you have any No7 faves that I need to try out!

  7. I've barely tried anything from No7 which is silly as you get so many vouchers for it! That shimmer palette looks gorgeous! I love the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks too so sounds like a great dupe
