Colourpop 'Golden State of Mind' Palette Review

Colourpop is a brand that I'm constantly impressed with and although not easily and readily available in the UK, I am constantly browsing their site and getting excited about all their launches. My flatmates friend from LA has come to stay and as a thank you not only did she get me the most beautiful Colourpop lip colours, but she also picked me up the Colourpop 'Golden State of Mind' Palette. I've always been impressed with the Colourpop super shock shadows, but when they came out with their pressed eyeshadow powders I was so intrigued.

This palette contains 15 stunning shimmery/glittery shades all perfect for the festive season. I've stolen the descriptions from the website below, but there are definitely a couple of my all time favourites in the palette.

Firstly unsupervised describes as a pink champagne has been a colour I've been wearing all-over-my-lids everyday since I've purchased this. I would literally describe this as an identical shade to my eye-lids but with shimmer. This therefore can work quite well for an everyday shadow look. Watch Out is another shade that I would wear on an everyday basis, but it's just that little bit lighter than unsupervised.
I'm so pleasantly surprised by the formula of these and they really live up to the Colourpop reputation of being great quality but with a reasonable price tag. Some of the shades are a bit more glittery than others, such as Golden Egg, Wing Woman and Tinker Time, whereas the others are more glitter shimmer however even the glittery ones aren't overly chunky.

I've used these both wet and dry, and with Fix + spray and I would highly recommend the more glittery ones to be used wet. It gives more of a colour payout and you can still easily blend the shades out.

Shades:

Golden Egg: pinky beige with turquoise glitter
Pay the Piper: icy blue
GRLFRND: pink with violet glitter
Zero Clue: vibrant warm yellow
Watch Out: golden ivory with pink glitter
Drizzle: icy baby pink
Uptight: rose gold
Can't Stop: icy champagne ivory
Sparkler: silvery bronze
Unsupervised: pink champagne
Lust in Time: medium cool rose
Mind Tricks: icy blackened purple
Wing Woman: red brown with green and gold glitter
Heads or Tales: icy cranberry
Tinker Time: blackened antique gold with blue glitter

I've picked up a couple of the single shadows which I'll talk about in a haul in a bit, but so far I'm really impressed with these pressed shadows. Colourpop's Supershock shadows are great but they can dry out after a while, so if you're looking for a much longer lasting product but still with the great quality and price tag, I highly recommend the pressed shadows.
