I’ve been looking for another cleanser after I ran out of my Lush one but its a hard habit to break, trying new things that is. Whilst traveling I’ve unfortunately let go of my skincare routine as makeup wipes are just too easy (please don't shun me!) When I was in New York my friend and I popped into a Fresh beauty shop. Now I haven't heard much about this brand across the pond, but my friend highly rated it and therefore, being the obsessive shopping addict I am, I thought, "ohhhh cleansers" and picked it up. What makes it harder in their shops is how divine it smells in there. Basically you just want to purchase everything and anything in sight.
The Soy Face Cleanser claims to be for "all skin types, rich in amino acids and gently cleanses face & eyes". I've found this cleanser incredibly soothing when applying it. It comes out as a very light liquid, a very different texture to the lush Ultracleanser, and lathers onto the skin very well. This cleanser really helps taking off all skincare products however mascara and eyeliner takes a little more rigorous rubbing. The product itself smells fresh and clean, just like how your skin feels after using it. My only downfall with this product is the taste. Now you're probably thinking, Caroline...why would you taste a cleanser? Well reader, the answer is simple, I wouldn't. But we would all be lying if we said we didn't accidentally get a bit of your cleanser in your mouth every now and again right? No?Just me then. Well if you happen to, it's not a great taste to have in your mouth at 11pm ready for bed. I really rate this product and hope that I can find a few more Fresh products to buy/try before leaving here!
