Garnier Skin Naturals Cleansing Review

Today's blog post is on something that I haven't seen so much rave about since Britney Spears came out with her first perfume In Control Curious - gosh do you guys remember that?!

Now as you know, when I find a favourites product its very hard for me to find the will or need to purchase anything that promises to do the same thing. I already own three cleansers and don't see the point in spending more than £1 on some facial wipes so I've been really good at not purchasing any of these products for a while. That was until the Garnier Skin Naturals cleansing products hit the blogosphere like an asteroid. Naturally, I had very little willpower and went out to try the cleansing wipes and miceller cleansing water.

Garnier Cleansing Wipes

Now that I wear more makeup I am extremely proud that I no longer use makeup remover wipes just by themselves. I do however like them to remove my makeup initially and then go in with my cleanser. These wipes are amazing for sensitive skin and especially dry skin as I do find them really moisturizing. I am also so impressed with how well they are able to tackle my eye makeup which is a pain. You get 25 of these wipes, the same amount as the Boots own values and yes, although they are more expensive at £3.29 per packet, I was able to get mine for half price at Tescos which I think is an amazing deal. I am so impressed with these wipes and will definitely be switching to using these on a daily basis now.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Now of course this is the product that most people have heard of and are in absolute love with. I only purchased the small 125ml bottle as I wanted to give it a little tester before I went in with the Super-Size Me bottle. "Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water contains micelles which act like magnets, gently lifting away makeup and impurities from the skin, without the need to rub or rinse." I'll be totally honest with you, I had no idea what micelles were but liked the sound of it and hey, everyone else was raving about it so it must be that good right? - Right. It is THAT good.

This has been an absolute game changer when removing my eye makeup. Now don't get me wrong, I am still using my trusty Lush Ultrabland to remove my face makeup, but this cleanser is immense when removing my eyeliner. I am so impressed with this cleanser and if you are looking for something that really does what it says on the bottle, pick this up asap. It's also great because when removing your eye makeup, it caters for sensitive skin and therefore if you get it in your eye (it happens okay?) it doesn't make you feel like you've gone blind momentarily. There's a reason why everyone has been loving this cleansing water *inserts thumbs up emoji*

Have you tried any of the above products? What were your thoughts - are you as in love as I am?

    1. So with you on that point! My skin is so outrageously sensitive and hates a lot of skin care products but these have worked so well! Thank you for reading! xx

    1. It's definitely my go to for eye makeup. I still use my trust ultrabland to take off my makeup, but it doesn't really get the depth of the immense eyeliner I like to shove on my face! xx

  4. I love the cute packaging for these products (even though they're so simple). I've heard about Micellar water, but I've never tried it before. Next time I have the chance, I'm definitely going to try it out. Lovely review! xx
