Festive Yankee Candles

It wouldn't be Christmas without some festive candles now would it, and Yankee Candles' scents are on point. Now as I will be back at home for Christmas and the majority of the early January period, I decided that this year I would only buy two very small yankee candles. Two very small, but very beautiful candles. These two scents are by far the best in my opinion and hey, my housemates seem to think so too!

Yankee Candle Cinnamon Stick

Okay. Okay. Ermagad. This. This is it. Now I know cinnamon is not everyone's favourite scent but to me, this is Christmas. The scent is extremely spicy and well cinnamon-ish good one Caroline and fills the room to smell as if you are baking cinnamon buns or if a load of Youtuber's were attempting the cinnamon challenge. Personally I could have this burning everyday of the year but hey, I have an unnatural obsession with cinnamon! One of the great things about Yankee Candles is that I really feel as if you get a lot of burn time with these candles and the jars are such good quality that you can use them for multiple different things like holding cotton balls or sweets. Yes. Sweets. I was so lucky to have picked these up on sale at Clintons Cards with 25% off!

Yankee Candle Christmas Eve - Nuit de Noel

If you can't already tell by all my lush hauls I'm not exactly the fan of a sweet scent. I was a tad apprehensive about originally picking up Christmas Eve as I thought it would be quite sweet. What I love about this scent is the plums notes as I feel as if this although is quite a sweet scent it's very balanced by the other not so sweet-fruits. God I am crap at the fragrance description. I have to say when burning both the cinnamon and Christmas eve candle together it's as if my entire flat has this amazing Christmas vibe. Plus it covers the smell of student cooking. That's a great bonus too. Sorry housemates!

What are some of your go-to Christmas candle scents? I'm all up for buying some more....shopaholic.

    1. I haven't tried that one! I'm a tad apprehensive on sweet smelling candles as I'm definitely a spice person but everyone says it smells more like fire-burned marshmallows and balances the smells out perfectly! Will definitely be giving it a smell next time I'm in store! xx
