KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow Sticks Haul/Review

KIKO is a brand that I obviously have been loving for quite a while now. If you've been reading my blog you'll know I'm a lover of their skin care and lip liners and have been basically raving about them forever to a point where it is possibly very annoying. Sorry. I recently watched Kathleen Lights drugstore makeup haul and saw her talk about these gorgeous long lasting eyeshadow sticks and knew then and there I had to go out and buy some. So I did. The next day. God I'm a shopaholic.

I picked up four of the gorgeous eyeshadow sticks and let me tell you this. Ermagad they are amazing. A while ago I was contemplating being an overly keen person and digging deep into my pocket to buy a By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadow stick. Now the By Terry sticks cost £29 and as a student I couldn't fathom spending that on one singular product. Noway no how. Apart from foundation. That's totally different. So I got so so far far too excited when I was swatching these and basically was like, "uh, these are basically By Terry sticks." But guess was £6.90 instead of £29. I mean. How could you not?!So naturally I picked up four stunning shades that I just couldn't live without.

Queue a lot of photos of swatches of these beautiful eyeshadow sticks in which I'm basically telling you, if you don't have these in your life, what and where have you been?

As you can tell from the swatches, these sticks are so beautifully pigmented and creamy. Oh so so creamy. This makes them so blendable if you are using them as an eyeshadow base or even better, if you want to use one of the darker colours for your crease.

The wear time for me is an obvious must. I have quite watery eyes and I tend to touch my face a lot during the day and therefore my makeup tends to usually end up everywhere apart from on my face. Standard. I've tried using these without a primer and with and they last all day. And I mean it. All day. They don't crease, or smudge halfway down your eye, they last all day. How many times should I say all day?!

I've been using the 21 stick alongside my Naked 3 palette to create a pink everyday look. My 07 has already been featured on my Christmas Day Makeup post pluuuugggg in!  and is such a stunning light gold and is definitely my favourite and most used out of the three. I haven't used 05 and 06 as much but when I have they have been to create a dark smokey eye for nights out! Totally gorgeous!

  5. I haven't tried these eyeshadow sticks, but they look awesome! I love the colors you chose, specially because it's easy to combine with other eyeshadows or makeup products and do different looks. Which one is your favorite?? :)
