Superdrug Face Masks

I'm a total sucker for a face mask. Whether it's a quick one hehehe before a night out, or part of my relaxation pamper me evening routine, I love a face mask. My favourite and also a great affordable face mask are the ones available at Superdrug and I'm here to tell you, yes forking out a £20 face mask may be totally beneficial, but for us money conscious people, these are well, *inserts thumbs up emoji*

Apricot Exfoliating Self-Heating Mask

I'm usually quite hesitant about face masks that can be proven to be too harsh on my skin, including exfoliation and "heating" masks however I have to say, even for my sensitive skin, these are ace. Is ace a "blogger" word? I apply these for 10 minutes onto my face and then use it as a normal exfoliant when taking it off with warm water. To be fair, the colour of the mask is nothing like on the photo and kind of resembles...well porridge when I put it on my face but it does smell like apricots so hey, whoop! If you suffer from dry skin I totally recommend using this face mask!

Peel - Off Mask

Okay, by far my favourite type of mask ever! Not only are these totally awesome because when taking it off you look like an alien with peeling face syndrome. Don't deny it, we all love looking like that - think of the snapchats! I have picked up and test tried three of the peel-off masks; Tropical, Fruit Sorbet and the honey one (not pictured, sorry used it the other evening ;)! ) For someone with dry skin I tend to use these more of a way to get rid of the semi gross, TMI beware gross flakey skin situation. I much prefer the fruit sorbet and honey peel-off masks solely because I'm neither a fan of pineapple or coconut so can only withstand the smell for the full 15-20 minutes!

These masks are so amazing and only cost 99p at your local superdrug, and hey guess what, most of the time are on offer 3 for 2 we love a good bargain! What are some of your favourite face masks you can recommend? Let me know in the comments below!

  5. Who doesn't love a good face mask?? And one that's affordable too! These sound great. In the states, the Freeman feeling beautiful masks are sold in most drugstores, are super affordable and highly effective! I've done reviews on a bunch of them!
