Wet 'n wild eyeshadow haul and first impressions

Surprisingly every now and again Switzerland shocks me by having and selling something that I am unable to buy in the UK. I know. Usually when it comes to them exporting brands from across the pond or just generally from other countries, they decide to whack up the price 50% and justify it with, "eh well that's Switzerland for you." The one brand that I've noticed that isn't effected by this totally overpriced and may-I-say-so-blunty stupid mantra is Wet 'N Wild beauty. Last time I was here I picked up their eyebrow kit and was extremely impressed with this highly budget friendly brand. Love a budget.

Seeing as I went to town the other day, I thought it would be rude not to pick up on the much-loved and raved about, eyeshadow trios. Walking on Eggshells was the first palette which pretty much drew me in at first glance. I mean can we just look at those shades for a second? I've been looking for a palette which is pretty much an everyday, easy blend and travel friendly product. This was it. For the past couple of days I've been pretty much in love with the eyelid shimmer shade and the browbone highlighter. I've been using it as a set only, as that's how it is designed to be used, however I feel as if I'm definitely going to be using the browbone highlighter for nearly every eye look. It's GORGEOUS!

The second palette I picked up was Silent Treatment. I thought this was such a lovely night-time palette that I would definitely be using a lot at university. The pink-toned highlighter really intrigued me as I tend to opt for a much more white-based highlighter. I have to say, if you use a fluffy blending brush to really blend in the crease shade into the eyelid shade, this soft gentle smokey eye-look is created.

So far I am so impressed with these palettes. The pigmentation is creamy in consistency and honestly for the money, I am so impressed. For me, the wear is at its best if you apply an eyeshadow primer, but keeping in mind I tend to rub my eyes a lot and are quite watery. As I said in my review on the Eyebrow Kit, the packaging isn't my favourite. The plastic is yes, quite cheap and honesty being the main point here, the brushes are useless. Sorry. However, looking past that, the product itself, which is the main actual important thing here, is beautiful. I will definitely be getting a lot of wear from these palettes at uni!
