Mini Lush Haul

Oh what a surprise! Caroline couldn't stay away from Lush for a very long time could she? In all fairness, the last time I went to Lush was during my Christmas haul so it was long over due. Let's begin talking my way out of this. December had been a very expensive month so in my recent trip I didn't pick up a lot from Lush but pretty much repurchased some 'essentials'.

I have to say it was really difficult not to pick up every single thing in the world when I went in there. The unicorn horn bubble bar was there. I wanted it. There was a lot of stuff there that I wanted. But no. I was being good.

It's Raining Men Shower Gel

I know this is going to be so surprising to hear, but I've never owned a Lush shower gel. *Gasp*. I know not even Snow Fairy. I picked up the It's Raining Men Shower Gel as it's one that I've heard loads about and is great for dry skin *fingers crossed*. Like yo, it's got 5 stars in the website. Surely it must be good? I mean someone called it the "dog's cogs of shower gels" - whatever that means.  I don't usually buy Lush shower gel only because of the hefty price tag which makes me cry on the inside, I mean like £4.95 for a tiny tiny bottle, but I thought you know, #TreatYoSelf. Lol Caroline you're always treating yourself.

Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

Of course it wouldn't be a trip to Lush without picking up my all-time favourite Ultrabland. Seriously I don't know what I would do if my friend Jess hadn't introduced this to me. She's like my skin savior.  But for once I did something different. I picked up the big tub. I went for it. I mean in all honesty I used it everyday, love it everyday and instead of 45g that you get for £7.50, you get 100g for £11.95. Now I'm no maths expert, but pretty sure you're getting more for your money here. Gold star for Caroline. I literally blabber on about this cleanser so I won't repeat myself but I talked about all of its wonders on my Skincare blog post here . But cheeky little spoiler, it's amazing. *Monkey covering eyes emoji*

Buffy Body Butter

I picked up the Buffy Body Butter a while ago and talked about it in another haul post here. Suffering with Keratosis pilaris on my arms absolutely sucks. If you don't know what it is, it's where small tiny red /purple bumps cover your upper arms/legs. A lot of people actually suffer from this but doctors don't really have any clue on how to treat it. I hate having my arms out a lot of the time as they usually flare up and just look totally unflattering. Those pictures in a nightclub could not be un-tagged any quicker. However, once I started using this - oh my goodness I don't even know what I've been doing my whole life. One of my guy friends suffers from it as well and am trying to convince him to buy it, he's a tad apprehensive about going into Lush alone. George, go buy it. I had been speaking to various doctors about it but they couldn't give me anything. Exfoliating sometimes made it worse. They gave me a bajillion types of shower gels etc. But this. This is it guys! It must be the mixture between the oils, exfoliation and just pure awesomeness. I was also happy to see that I wasn't alone in finding this glory as some others found it worked too!

So there we have it! Another mini-lush haul. Once payday is nearer I will be picking up a lot of the new bubble bars/bath bombs to take back with me over Easter as I can indulge in many more baths back in Switzerland than at uni! Have you tried any of the products or any recommendations for my next Lush trip? Let me know lovelies!
