My Favourites: June

With finishing university, moving out, starting my new job and practically becoming an adult within a week it's safe to say this month has flown by and I was definitely not prepped to write this blog post. Seriously, it's fricking halfway through 2016. Can we just not?! Okay enough with the cliche "it's gone so quickly" ramble and on to the products that have pretty much made this month bearable with the ever-changing weather and the grease-ball of a look my skin tends to go to after commuting into London. Yup, I'm still single. Shock.

Korres Anti Ageing Eye Primer

I received this eyeshadow primer in my LookIncredible Beauty subscription box (which yes I have now stopped) and it has started to take place over my Benecos eyeshadow primer a lot more. What I love about this eyeshadow primer is how smooth it makes your lids, meaning applying shadows is so much easier and it makes it so effortless to blend. More importantly, it has a tint of neutral shading to it, meaning that the product covers up any dark veins or pigmentation that you have on your eyelids, a real winner there! Now I don't know where you can actually get your hands on it at the moment, but I swear i saw it available on Feel Unique a while ago as they do sell a lot of Korres products there so take a look at the brand here.

I picked this up a while ago and to be honest I never thought I would be the kind of person to buy a high-end bronzer. I personally found it a little bit pointless, as I thought that a bronzer was a bronzer, How could I justify spending so much on that? Tut tut Caroline, you were so wrong. Oh so wrong. This is just stunning. As someone with freckles I can't have a bronzer that is too dark/orange as it will make my face look an awful complexion, which is why I went for the lighter shade, Sun-kissed which is just perfect for my fair skin! Apart from the packaging which is so aesthetically pleasing (although feels a little light and on the cheap side), it blends so effortlessly and doesn't leave me looking either muddy or orange!

I picked this up in my Body Shop Haul which although may seem like I only just purchased it, but as my camera was broken for so long, I've actually been testing out this cleanser for a good 3 weeks now! I adore this cleanser as it really melts off your makeup rather than having to use cotton pads to remove it like my Lush Ultrabland (don't worry I still love it just as much). My one gripe would be that it doesn't take off eye makeup easily at all so I still have to go in with my miscellar water now to remove my eye makeup, although this is definitely a lot better than other products for removing skin makeup as my skin doesn't feel so parched and dry straight after using it.

I haven't had a chance to speak about this product since I picked it up a while ago. I've wanted to purchase a bright pink lipstick for quite a while now and to be honest, I'm not quite sure where I got the idea to purchase this one was, but I'm so glad I did. The reason why I could never fashion blog is because of my lack of ability to wear anything but white, grey and black. To justify this, I've started to become a bit more adventurous in makeup, safe to say  I wore a bright neon lipstick to work the other day, daring I know. So I have no problem in wearing a nice bright lip when the rest of my outfit and makeup look is very safe. This is a cremesheen finish, which personally I love. It's very moisturizing for this time of the year and although the longevity isn't as great as let's say a matte, it's still gives me a good 5 hours on-the-go. I would describe this as a vibrant pink lip with much more of a blue undertone than red. It's ideal for stepping into Summer which has definitely not made it's way to England as of yet!

So there we have it! This month's favourites! I know there aren't that many but I've been buying quite a few new pieces so I'm still in the midst of figuring out whether I like them or not! Send me below some of your June favourite posts, I'd love to read them! Let me know what you've been loving and if any of the above products featured in your monthly faves!

    1. Some people have said that it can be a bit too red-undertoned for their skin tone, but for mine which is pale yet freckly it works quite well! xx
