Products I Will Forever Repurchase: Skincare

You know when you buy a couple of products that work so well for your skin that you could never think of replacing them? That's what's happened with these four gems. Ever since introducing them into my skin care routine, I've noticed my skin being a lot more tamed, and if I do get the one "every now and again" spot, it's not as ginormous as it used to be, thank god. They've become such staples that I don't think I could ever really replace them, well you know, unless something does come along that does kick it's butt, but that's highly unlikely.

Firstly is my trusty Ultrabland Facial Cleanser. Although I got to a point in which I really loved the Body Shop Chamomile Cleanser, it doesn't break down eye makeup as well as the Lush one. As someone with sensitive skin, this is such the perfect cleanser. It never irritates my skin and leaves my face feeling so soothed and clean. A lot of my friends have tried this cleanser and hated it, saying that it leaves their skin feeling oily. However, this is not one of those cleansers that you can take off with just running water. You have to dampen your face, lather this on and remove with either a face cloth or cotton pads, otherwise it will just leave oily residue on your skin. I think because it is oil based, it's great for dry skin girls, as it doesn't make you feel as if you need to lather yourself in moisturiser after - you know that intense dry feeling you can get after removing your makeup sometimes.

Next is the best moisturiser I've ever owned/tried, the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Creme. First Aid Beauty isn't something that is so readily available in the UK annoyingly. Unfortunately you can't just pick it up from Superdrug etc, but I purchase mine off Feel Unique. I find moisturisers the most difficult product to purchase. I have such dry dry skin, with flakey parts around my nose and chin, and a lot of foundations do cling onto my dry patches. This is the only moisturiser that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and actually sinks rather than sits onto my skin -  I would love it if this became more easily available in the UK (otherwise I get distracted on feel unique and buy additional products) and I recommend this product to literally everyone I know.

The Kiehl's Concentrate duos were a gift from my brother last Christmas and I can't believe how little I have left. These are some darn expensive drops of oil, retailing at around £37 each. However saying that, I have had these since Christmas, used every day since and I still haven't finished them. I apply three drops of the daily one in the morning to my skin before my moisturiser, and three drops of the midnight one in the evenings. These products have made my skin a lot less blotchy, as I tend to have red cheeks, and more importantly I barely get any spots anymore. However, saying that, for some people, this does not work. I would seriously recommend going to Kiehl's to pick up  a sample of the product first. My cousin tried this out and broke her out, luckily she hadn't purchased the huge bottle. I'm not quite sure how this would work for those with oily skin, but as someone with dry skin, the additional oil really does moisturise my skin.

The Daily Reviving Concentrate contains ginger root which really leaves my face leaving fresh and bright, I barely suffer from dark under-eye circles. I really love adding this into my foundation as well, as it gives a healthier glow and means my foundation doesn't cling to  my dry patches. The Midnight Recovery Oil I would put down to making my face feel a lot more softer and my skin texture looking more even therefore my foundation applies a lot more easily. I also seriously have to admit, that my forehead lines are a lot less obvious than they were a year ago. I had three quite bad frown lines on my forehead, even at 22, and although not completely gone, this has plumped up my forehead a lot more!

So there are four of my "products I will forever purchase" in the skincare department! I would love to know what some of your holy grail products are that you will never stop repurchasing! Let me know in the comments below!

  2. I always forget I have the FAB moisturiser! I have oily skin so tend to use it for bumps on the back of my arms! I'm not a massive fan of the Kiehls Midnight Concentrate, I like the scent and how it feels but see no difference unfortunately!

    1. Oh if you suffer from the bumps on arms, you need to try Lush Buffy Bar - I have them as well and it seriously does amazing wonders! I need to try the moisturiser on them too now! I have to say, you do kind of have to use it for a long time in order for it to work, I don't think the samples are big enough to see a long term difference but the lines on my forehead have gotten better! xx

  7. I am lucky to be introduced to a few skincare brands and products through blogging and there are definitely a few that I will continue to repurchase namely AmorePacific moisturizer and Bella Aura cleanser and anti-oxidant cleanser. Also one that I have constantly repurchased is Nip+Fab Glycolic Cleasing Pads.

    1. Now I love the sound of those! Not sure how easily I'll be able to get ahold of them in the UK though, that's one of the most annoying things about skincare, you find the holy grail, and they aren't easy to get your hands on! xx

  10. I currently have the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate sitting unopened in my skincare stash (I'm finishing another oil up first) so I'm glad to hear how much you like it!

I do have oily/combination skin though so hopefully it won't break me out.

  13. This is a good pick. CBD from GoldBee is also one of the best skincare regimen there is. There are some products on the market today that do have pure CBD oil, however, the best CBD available comes from the marijuana plant. CBD is now produced in pharmaceutical labs, which makes it possible for consumers to purchase the highest quality product.
