Recent Empties

I've been pretty good at going through a lot of my old products this month and have really wanted to write this post so I can get rid of the mucky old containers (apart from the Lush ones as obvs I can recycle those at Lush).

Firstly was the L'Oreal Paris Nutri-Gold Silk Moisturizer. I received this in my April Look Incredible subscription box and have finally just finished it. I cancelled my Look Incredible subscription box a while back because of this exact reason which I've encountered. They kept putting in a lot of products that were discontinued which really annoyed me because I kept thinking "well what if I decided I really liked this product and can no longer buy it?". Which is exactly what happened. I really liked this moisturiser, it was quite heavy duty and had Jasmine and calcium, which I find always work really well with my skin (calcium that is). Considering that it's taken my three months to use up this pot, I have to say you do get a lot of product in the pot, but unfortunately, a great product, that I will never be able to buy again, splendid

The next three products are Lush goodies, of course they are. I finally finished up two of my Fresh Face Masks Oatifix* and Brazened Honey. I've reviewed the Fresh Face Mask Brazened Honey  here  and I pretty much unfortunately slated how disappointed I was that I was recommended this product for my dry skin. I actually ended up giving this to my cousin to try use, so she's the one who really emptied it. Dry skin girls, stay well clear from this face mask, but instead use the Oatifix face mask! It's so hydrating and although a bit of a pain to apply, because it's not smooth, it's so soothing for your skin. One of the things that annoys me with the Fresh Face Masks, is that you have to use them within three weeks, otherwise they expire straight away. Also you have to keep them in the fridge, which is harder to remember than you think! Regardless you do get a lot for your money in these pots, I reckon about 8 full face masks?

My Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara and the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner have both dried out. I replaced them in a recent Feel Unique haul here as I really do think they are some of the best of the best in the drugstore for both mascara and eyeliner. I do have to say though, that the eyeliner does dry out a bit quicker than some of the others that I've tried, but it is also one of the easiest to apply and most pigmented. What's great about empties is that you can really decide at this point whether or not you will repurchase them and these will be!

  1. I also find the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner super easy to apply, even easier than some of the high end ones I have tried. It's actually makes it my favorite liquid liner.

    1. I'm so glad you like it too! I find that it's kind of a marmite product! It's just an all round easy line product! xx

  2. Love reading empties posts, shows what people have really loved - such a shame that you can't get hold of the L'Oreal moisturiser anymore it sounds wonderful!

    1. I know how annoying! It was actually kind of what put me off from that subscription box, what's the point in trying out products, loving them, and never being able to buy them again! xx
