4 Eyeshadows for November

Although November is still 'Autumn' I find it a bit of a mixture of Autumn but also slowly transitioning into the festive period. It doesn't help that pretty much the entirety of this country has turned itself into lapland right after halloween, though, I'm not complaining! I think when it comes to November, you kind of opt for more dark copper/gold eyes rather than the more nude brown eyeshadows (or atleast I do) so I've chosen 3 mono eyeshadows and 1 palette that will take you from November right to the festive period.

The first eyeshadow is my much loved Mac Extra Dimension Eyeshadow 'Amorous Alloy' . I remember heading to mac and really wanting an eyeshadow to splurge from, but was unimpressed by the pigmentation of their matte and shimmered eyeshadows. I then decided to take a look at the Extra Dimension (also Extra price) and now these blew me away. I was instantly drawn to Amorous Alloy which is a warm copper brown with a lovely sheen to it. I'm obsessed with this as an all-over the lid smokey copper eye with a nude lip around this time of the year if I'm heading for drinks or a night out. The pigmentation is out of this world and impressed me a lot more than the others!

Next is the KIKO Long Lasting Wet & Dry Eyeshadow '208' a bright shimmery gold shadow which is a formula that was quite new to me. I hadn't really understood what 'wet' eyeshadows were, I just knew that by applying something like Mac Fix+ you could enhance a shadow, but with these, if you simply wet a eyeshadow brush the shadow becomes not only more pigmented but a lot easier to blend and work with. I've always highly commended KIKO I think they are an amazing brand, affordable and great quality!

I won't talk too long about the Colourpop Super Shock Shadow 'La La' because I know we're all pretty sick of hearing about it, but this has been a shadow that I have worn continuously for weeks (I'm terrified I'll hit pan soon!) Although on the website it says it's a rose-gold shade, I would say this has that little bit more of a gold/copper undertone to it which makes it so perfect for this time of the year!

Left to Right: Mac 'Amorous Alloy, Colourpop 'La La', KIKO '208'

Lastly is a palette which I just think needs a whole shoutout because it's a stunning palette. The Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette  is a palette that doesn't really get used much until we hit Autumn/Winter time. If you've never tried a Zoeva palette before, you have seriously got to. When I'm talking pigmentation, I'm talking serious high quality beauty here. There are a couple of shades I have to give a shout out to for being perfect for this time of the year.

Warm Notes - Glittering cranberry purple
Subtle Blend - Metallic deep bronze
Pure Ganache - Pure and luxurious metallic gold
Substitute For Love - Toffee brown with subtle shimmer
Freshly Toasted - Rich mahogany brown

Left to Right Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette: 'Warm Notes', 'Subtle Blend', 'Pure Ganache', 'Substitute for Love', 'Freshly Toasted'
I love using substitute for love all across the lid, with freshly toasted in the crease which gives off this beautiful terracotta smokey eye.
