Ironically after posting a post all about nail care and my lack of on the blog on Tuesday this week and how much I hate it, I thought I'd still put up a post with three nail polishes I've been obsessed with recently. Although I do have a love/hate relationship with my nails and with nail polish I hate having my nails unpainted.
Firstly is the L'Oréal Paris Color Riche 'Cafe De Nuit'. At first I was a little bit apprehensive on this shade because I do think it is quite light to be wearing in the Winter, but I have been so impressed with both the formula of this product and the wear. It's a salmon/peach nude that I think will look absolutely stunning during the Spring/Summer with a bit of a tan. Not only is the packaging of this product swoon worthy, but the polish comes with a wide brush and the polish is actually quite a good price I think at £4.99 and feels very luxurious!
Another shade I've been loving is the Maybelline Super Stay Golden Brown. Usually I keep any metallic/glittery nail varnishes solely for Christmas and New Years but because this is so beautifully "rose gold" it's one that I feel I can pretty much wear all throughout Winter. I've raved about the Maybelline polish formula as it's one of my favourites and metallic/glitter nails tend to always last that bit longer on me anyways so it doesn't chip the day after applying it.
Another shade I've been loving is the Maybelline Forever Strong Polish 'Rose Poudre'. I picked this up a while ago and really need to buy a new bottle because I've basically finished it. I've been loving this sophisticated dusty pink. What I love is that there are no coral undertones which I think can really ruin a delicate pink polish, Another product with great formulation, as it sort of as a shiny gel consistency and finish. I think this works as a great nail polish for all year round because how delicate it is.

In winter I usually wear dark red or grey nail polish but after the festive season, I am more into soft pink and nude colours!!! I cannot wait to wear bright pink nail polish in spring! x

DeleteI'm totally all over the place when it comes to nail polish shades and that stays true all year round - I pick the shade according to my mood so you could see me wear black or deep wine in the middle of summer quite easily ^_^
ReplyDeleteAt the minute I'm loving Bitter Buddist by Smith & cult, which is a dusty jade shade, but I also really love the L'Oreal color riche range - such a great formula and the brush is amazing! Cafè de nuit will probably join my collection very soon, it's adorable
ah that's so interesting! i'm totally the opposite because I usually wear polish colours to match the season! Do you have any other shade recommendations from the L'Oreal range? I want to try so many more! xx
