Best 2016 Purchases

I seriously can't believe I'm writing this post. I can't believe it's 2017 - like seriously where has the year gone?! In 2016 I think I definitely delved much more into the makeup departments and yes, definitely splurged a little too much, but I also found some incredible products which have featured so heavily on this blog because I cannot get enough of them!

Firstly is the gorgeous Milani Luminoso Blusher. I picked this up in May and it's one of my most used blushers ever. This is seriously one of the most stunning blushers ever, it's got a beautiful peach sheen to it and it's a blush that really lasts all day on the cheeks.

Another product I haven't stopped using all year is the Mac Cosmetics Strobe Cream. I know that they have come out with a variety of new strobe creams, but to me this is just so perfect. I love mixing this into my foundation or applying it after my primer. You only need to apply a pea-sized drop to add a amazing glow to your face. This is a serious life-saviour for anyone with dry skin because it really adds some extra glow and dimension. I only have the small travel-sized bottle but it's a great size because you barely need to use that much product! 

It was too hard to chose just one product from Colourpop, so instead I'm adding the entire brand to being a "best of 2016 purchase". This is an amazing brand that although yes, comes with horrific custom charges, is totally worth it. I've so far tried their eyeshadows, highlighters, blushers, Lippie Stix and Ultra Matte Lips. Each of their products are such good value for money and the quality is incredible! If you haven't tried anything from Colourpop, keep a lookout on their website for any international shipping deals that they do and trust me, although the customs is annoying, it is worth it! 

Next is the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette. I've talked about this product so much in the past month, so I won't delve into it too much, but it's an incredible product for Autumn/Winter time and this product is what has made me really want into delve into Charlotte Tilbury as a brand more next year!

The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray was a product that I've repurchased twice this year because of how much I love it. It took me right through University nights out, to my graduation and every Christmas do. It really does set my makeup but it also gives my makeup a better glow after a couple of sprays.

Lastly is a product that I had been lusting after for an age. I really want to try out Benefit's Rockateur Blush and Hoola bronzer but the cost for both would come at like £46 so instead I found buying the Benefit Cheekathon Palette was a much better deal at £44 and getting 5 products instead of 2! I have been loving the two products, but can't wait to start using Coralista and Dandelion in the Summer next year!
