Current Blushing Faves

I think for me, 2016 was the year of the Blusher. Blush. Blushes. Whatever you call them. I was obsessed with finding my 'perfect' natural flush pink and recently I cannot stop using three favourites.

Firstly is the gorgeous Benefit Rockateur Blush, and as you can tell mine is is in the Benefit Cheekathon Palette one of the best purchases I made last year and I cannot stop using it. This was pretty much the only blush I would wear during the winter time as I preferred it to my usual 'red brick' 'berry' blushers as this is a lot more subtle. It's a stunning soft rose gold shade with a hint of sheen which really just provides an effortless glow! I think this is a blush perfect for transitioning in between seasons such as Summer to Autumn and Winter to Spring.

Next is my first ever cream blush which is the Colourpop Blush 'Between The Sheets'. I originally thought I would hate a cream blush as I don't tend to get on well with cream products as they never sit right. however, unsurprisingly, as with everything from Colourpop, this product is amazing. This is what I would call a dusty terracotta pink which is perfect for stepping into Spring with. The product lasts well throughout the day and doesn't turn patchy or move any other products underneath it.

Lastly is the infamous Milani Baked Blush 'Luminoso'. Now that Milani is easily available on the Milani UK website and on Beauty Bay  there is no excuse as to why you don't own this stunning blush. Luminoso is that perfect balance between peach and pink and for those who aren't a big fan of pink blushers, this is perfect as it doesn't look too harsh on the face. For those with much darker complexions, this can act more of a peach blush highlighter topper because it does have such a beautiful sheen (without being glittery) and I do think this is a shade that can look effortlessly glowy on everyone's complexion.

Let me know in the comments below if any of these are your favourite blushers and what blushers I need to add to my collection!

  1. Milani blush pigment is out of this world and Luminoso can't be replicated I love it! Also I have Cheekathon it's genuinely got everything. I use Hoola and dandelion when I'm pale and when I have a tan I use Dallas and coralista!

  3. That colorpop one is gorgeous. I have super fair skin, so I relate to not wanting a super red/out there shade. Something that makes it look like I'm naturally glowing is perfect!

  4. Oh they're all so pretty. I love blush, sometimes it can just make a makeup look. Loved this post lovely.
