Prague, Birthday and Friendships | Life Chats

It's been a while since I've done a lifestyle update/ life chat/ rant on the blog and although nothing major or substantial has happened, I do love a little ramble.

Work has been particularly off the scale busy in the past couple of months which is definitely not a bad thing at all. With a load of exciting projects and events it's definitely kept me busy but at the same time I'm massively needing a day off as I haven't had any time off since Christmas. I've also been looking into some courses I may do in my spare time such as continuing with my Spanish by doing an evening course or looking into other training courses I can do within PR. Although saying that, I'm so fortunate without sound like an absolute loser with my job because there is definitely never a dull moment so I'm not sure when I would ever have the time to do it!

Speaking of not having time off, at the end of this month I'm finally having a long weekend away and heading to Prague with one of my besties from Uni so I'm definitely excited to finally go away! Let me know in the comments below if you have any recommendations of what to do/ where to eat or where to drink in Prague. I've also booked to fly home in May and off to Cyprus in June which I am buzzing for.

Apart from the busy prep with work something very exciting is that I cannot believe I'm turning 23 next week, it's absolutely insane. I feel like my birthday comes round every year super quickly and I'm so excited to be spending it with loads of my friends at my flat some who I haven't seen in an absolute age. I'm hoping to actually make it out this year on my birthday (not like my 21st) so fingers crossed for me everyone! Be prepared for next week a couple of birthday inspired posts as there will definitely be a birthday makeup look coming up on the blog.

Something that has been a little bit crazy recently is friendships. It seems like in the past month I've had quite a few ups and downs recently which I think is definitely normal when you enter your 20's. Nonetheless really sad. At nearly 23 I feel as if I've kind of grown out of the whole 'Laguna beach drama days' and I don't particularly have the time to worry about 'she said' 'he said' moments anymore. I'm very lucky to have many friends who will always be there for me, but it can be surprising when a friend you think will always be there for you, decides not to be. Without wanting to sound super dramatic and mysterious, I've learned through these ups and downs that sometimes it's best to let them figure things out and for me to take a step back.

So there we have it, just a little reflective Thursday post on everything that's been happening recently. Let me know in the comments below if you've been dealing with any friendship difficulties recently and how you've been getting through them, any advice is needed!

  4. Particularly with friendships, I've found that everyone needs more space and it evolves. I think the friendships last long if everyone is on the same page that way. Oh and Happy Birthday in advance!
