Recent Beauty Favourites

I sadly missed last months beauty favourites but decided I'd do a quick run down on a couple of my recent beauty favourites that I've been loving and using for the past couple of weeks.

The Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eyeshadow Palette has been a firm favourite for a very long time since I picked it up in Washington....2 years ago now, and I'm gutted that I've finished one of my favourite shades in there Push Up but Nudie and Cashmere Bunny are my all time favourite matte brown shades for an everyday look. There is not a single orange/mauve/pink undertone in these two shades and are just pure simple brown mattes. I think this is the perfect shadow to take on-the-go and if you're just starting out with makeup because it really holds all the neutral shades you'd ever need.
Along with my Too Faced palette, I have been loving wearing the Colourpop Supershock Eyeshadow - Supermodel all over my lid and then using Nude and Cashmere Bunny in my crease. This is such an effortless look and I love how creamy and pigmented the formula of the Supershock shadows are. I also find they don't crease and the shimmer does last all day even without an eye-primer.

I was luckily sent a couple of goodies from Revlon a while ago, and one product really stood out to me which was the Revlon Ultra HD Gel LipColor in '710 Desert'*.
I can't even tell you how much I love this lipstick. It's quite sheer but still packs a pigmentation, the colour is extremely flattering and I love the packaging. It's so easy to throw into your handbag and just top-up during the day and I've found I've been wearing this most likely 4 out of 7 days of the week.

Left to Right: Charlotte Tilbury 'Bond Girl, Revlon Ultra HD GelLipcolor '710 Desert'
A product that I'm mildly surprised by is my love for the Essie Nailpolish Ballet Slippers. I usually really dislike Essie nail varnishes, I find that my brittle nails just don't work well with the formula, but there must be something different about this particular shade. Usually Essie polishes last I kid you not a day and a half, whereas I can go around 4/5 days which for my nails is a long time. Depending on my tan if any Ballet Slippers either shows up as a peachy nude when tanned or a true pink nude on my nails. I think this is such a classic shade, perfect for Summer and one that everyone needs to have in their collection!

Another surprising product is how much I've been loving wearing Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl recently. Bond Girl is described as a Natural Berry Red Matte Lipstick which I know, sounds far too Autumnal to be wearing in August. However, I've been loving wearing this if I'm just wearing sandals, plain t-shirt and mom jeans to add a bit more of a sophisticated and put-together look. I go brighter on the eyes when I wear this to ensure I don't make it too dark.

It seems that there have been quite a few surprising favourites recently. Most people who know me will know that I'm someone who doesn't like to stray too far from my holy grail and signature scent Chloe. However saying that, when the Ghost Whitelight Diamond Dust Perfume* came through the post I automatically couldn't stop spritzing myself with it. I don't particularly like sweet scents, so I knew I would like this as the top notes are citrus; Peach, Mandarin, Pear. Also can we just talk about the fact that this is holographic?!
