The Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour® Cream Skin Protectant

There's nothing better than coming across a product that ultimately changes your life. As I have extremely dry skin, every now and again I tend to get an area on my nose which becomes cue the TMI really flakey and sore during the winter time. It leaves me with being unable to put foundation on it because it looks so bad and my all time favourite moment was when someone in the office said 'You've got lipstick on your nose' because of how red and inflamed it was. Lovely. Unfortunately my holy grail First Aid Beauty Moisturizer isn't heavy duty enough for that so my flatmate recommended that I try her Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant. What a life changing product.

The Elizabeth Arden Skin Protectant aims to sooth, restore and relieve chapped/cracked and dry skin - aka whatever the hell goes on my nose every now and again. The consistency of the product is a thick-gel with quite an 'apothecary' scent which I actually quite like. The combination of ingredients including; Petrolatum, Lanolin (wool wax) Mineral Oil and Tocopherol (a Vitamin E) is what makes the fast-healing for dry skin so incredible. I usually tend to use half of a pea-sized drop and just rub it into the dry area in the evening it's incredibly shiny so wouldn't recommend during the day

Other than if I have dry skin, I like to alternatively use this as a lip balm. Although there are additional EA products specifically for your lips, I find this works just as well.

Ever since using my flatmates tube I thought it was about time I got my hands on my own 50ml bottle so managed to pick up this limited edition one from Duty Free so I even saved a little on the price.

I highly recommend this product and although I know it is pricey, a little goes a long way and for anyone who suffers with dry/chapped/flakey skin during the Winter time or just when it's a little dehydrated, give this a go as it's definitely a life changing product!
