Two Peas In A Pod

Every now and again you come across a couple of products that just work so effortlessly together, two peas in a pod. They compliment each other and ultimately are as good together as peanut butter and jelly.

First is the notorious lipstick Charlotte Tilbury 'Pillow Talk'. I bloomin' love this lipstick, and you can really tell because that's all that is left of it currently I need to repurchase it. Pillow Talk is that pink/nude that is your lips but better, in a comfortable and lip plumping formula. Most days I'll wear it on it's own but ever since picking up Colourpop Ultra Glossy Lip 'Fairy Floss' I have been pairing these two non-stop. Fairyfloss almost has an identical undertone to it so it doesn't really effect the colour Pillow Talk pays off, but instead just adds a beautiful sheen to it and makes your lips look almost that little bit more full.

On the cheeks I've been pairing Milani Baked Blush 'Luminoso'  and the I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts Peachy Pink Kiss   for as long as I can remember. Although Luminoso has a natural sheen to it, sometimes if I don't feel like wearing highlighter, I'll opt for a blush topper instead. Peachy Pink Kiss has the similar peach undertone to Luminoso so it just gives it that little bit more life and lift for a more dewy complexion.

Champagne shimmer eyes are my go-to day to day look, but nothing beats pairing Colourpop Super Shock Shadow 'Super Hard Core'  and my Nars Eyeshadow Duo 'Alhambra'. I use Super Hard Core as a base for pretty much every champagne eye look as it's that little bit tacky to act as a perfect fixer for the shadows to sit on. I either use the left pink-champagne colour on top if I'm going for more of a brightening rose-gold look, or on the right, the beautiful light gold shade. Either shadow works perfectly with Super Hard Core as it makes the shadows last a little bit longer and brighter.
Left to Right: I HearMakeup Blushing Hearts, Milani Luminoso, Colourpop Super Hard Core,  Nars Alhambra, Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk, Colourpop Fairy Floss
Let me know what two products in your collection go together like Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

  3. Love your suggestions! Pillow talk can be a match with pretty much everything. I love matching shades as lipstick and blush and recently i have posted Max Faxtor blush and Modelco lip-gloss combo.
