Recent Lifestyle Favourites

This Is Us - It's been a long time since I've binge watched a TV show that hasn't been Crime related as that's pretty much all I read and watch but so many people from work raved about how incredible this show is and I can completely agree. I can't really tell you about the story line because it will pretty much giveaway every twist and turn in the plot, but what I can tell you is that so far I've cried in EVERY episode in the first season and I can't tell you how immense the story lines and characters are. Season 1 has left me on a cliffhanger which I don't appreciate so someone please tell me when season 2 will be available in the UK!

2018 Icon Rifle Paper Co Diary - It's a long standing joke between my family and co-workers about my diary. I'm insanely picky about which diary I purchase for the year (last years was a Ban.doo one). I like them to be week-to-view diaries but I don't want them to have timings on each of the days either, and of course they have to be aesthetically pleasing what can I say, I'm a stereotype. If I plan anything that is TBC is has to go in pencil NOT pen, just in case it gets cancelled and I have to cross it out which makes it look messy. So safe to say, I'm particular. I've seen a lot of bloggers with this diary and I knew I would absolutely love it. It's so pretty and to me pen to paper is so much easier than keeping it on my phone.

Caroline Gardner Stuck On You Sticker Book - Another stationery favourite is this sticker book which my lovely friend Kate got me as a present. This has literally the cutest stickers for your diary including 'brunch', 'manicures', 'holidays' and practically every sticker you could ever want. My last year diary came with stickers but the Rifle one doesn't so this is such a good alternative although I have to restrain myself not to use the entire book in the first month because they are so cute!

Harry Potter - I've been re-reading the Harry Potter books which I haven't done for I reckon...6/8 years?! All my books were in Zurich at my parent's house so I finally brought them back after Christmas and I am loving how cosy these have made me feel, and choosing to read them before bed rather than watching YouTube has definitely helped me fall to sleep much quicker!

Galaxy Salted Caramel Cake Slices - My last lifestyle favourites included of course my Cadbury's Mini Rolls however I've moved swiftly onto the Galaxy Salted Caramel Cake Slices. My flatmate included a packet of these in my stocking for Christmas and oh my goodness they were delicious. I don't know whether the salted caramel ones were just a limited edition one for Christmas, but generally all the Galaxy cake slices are amazing including just the caramel ones. Highly recommend with a cup of tea in the afternoon.

Decluttering - Since Christmas I've been trying to de-clutter a lot of my wardrobe and bedroom. I don't live in a particularly massive flat and there isn't a lot of storage space, and considering all my belongings are in the UK ever since moving over for University, I have to be quite stringent with the amount of stuff I own. I did a huge de-clutter of books which I took to the charity shop and also a massive recycling of old clothes which I took to H&M. Although yes it does leave me with more space...to buy more stuff, I'm trying to not and just enjoy having a wardrobe that isn't bulging open constantly!

  3. I love watching crime series too! But it's refreshing to watch something else in between, too. Glad you've found a series to enjoy!

I also, like you, enjoy decluttering from time to time. Sometimes you hold onto clothing and makeup for way too long, and it's just time to get rid of it. I always donate my clothes so it kind of makes me feel okay with parting with them ;-)

  14. That diary is EVERYTHING!!!! I bsolutely love it! Plus, decluttering is my thing, seriously! When I was little I remember I hated it when my mum used to tell me to clean my room, declutter all the stuff on my desk, but now I LOVE it. I may have become a freak because I basically declutter my wardrobe every week but I'm always trying new ways to make it more spacious and fun to look at every time I open it. Now my mum thinks I'm crazy hahah
