My Everyday Makeup Routine

Although we're definitely far away from Spring I am adamant to step into it as quickly as possible. I've been trying to brighten up my complexion a lot more, opt for the dusky pinks and the champagne shimmers rather than the dark berry tones with the below products, and ultimately I think I'm ready for jean jackets, flowy tops and converse season again.

For foundation, I've fallen back in love with my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation. I was testing the Healthy Mix foundation for a while, but found that it became increasingly patchy on my nose throughout the day and clung to my dry patches. After a work trip to Cape Verde I've been using the shade Vanille which is a great shade, and although my slight tan has faded (I managed to burn m y forehead day 2), it provides me with a bit more colour (but not too orange) and doesn't wash me out. This foundation is usually always on sale in Superdrug or Boots and is a fab light to medium foundation for those with dry skin.

I usually never steer away from my Rimmel Match Perfection powder, but instead I've been opting for my Milani Illuminating Face Powder 'Beauty's Touch' which has just been a dream. I love this powder because it adds a healthy glow, but also a healthy colour to your skin. Although it may look like a blush, the brown and pink colouring is so light it really just adds a bit more depth to your complexion as well as setting down your makeup.

Another Milani favourite, and pretty much a product that has taken over all my blushes, is the Milani Rose Powder Blush 'Romantic Rose' I won't go on too much about this blush, because all I do is talk about it, but I've been finding it compliments pretty much every makeup look I do, especially when pairing it with a nude/pink toned lip. It's a very delicate and soft blush pink which I think is a great alternative to a softer look.

To match all the dusty pinks, I've been opting for my BareMinerals Nude Matte Liquid Lipstick 'JuJu' which is a lovely dark mauve pink. Whenever I don't know what to wear, but want something that basically isn't Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk because that's all I ever seem to wear now I tend to pick this up. The formula of these is incredible, they definitely don't get enough hype. They remind me of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cremes, they are comfortable, smooth to apply and just a dream to wear throughout the day.

Annoyingly my much-loved Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer completely smashed when I was travelling a while back, so have been unable to use it. Instead when I left my job, I was very kindly gifted a couple of makeup bits from Mac including the Mac Sculpting Powder 'Sculpt' Although this is, indeed, a contouring powder, because it is a soft matte taupey brown, I've been using it lightly across my face as well as to contour on a daily basis. I will at one point, repurchase a new bronzer any recommendations let me know but for now, it's working wonders!

Lastly on the eyes, will be no surprise but my trusty Colourpop Pressed Shadow 'Take It Slow'. Can you ever go wrong with a champagne both on the eyes and in a glass? I've been so impressed by Colourpop's pressed shadows, and now that I have a Z-Palette I'm definitely going to be stocking up on them more and more. This is perfect to wear everyday to work with a quick nude brown in the crease, unfortunately I don't think it's available anymore, but another gorge champagne alternative is 'Let Me Explain'
