5 Nude Nails For Spring

Okay so guaranteed it looked like Spring was here...for one day in the UK and although it's grey and raining today I'm still pining and ready for Spring, so to get myself in the spirit I'm going to upload an array of Spring-like content on the blog over the next few weeks!

KL Polish 'Alyssa' - I need to seriously get my hands on more KL polishes as it has become one of my favourite formulas. Alyssa is soft everyday light pink shade perfect for everyday. I do like bright nail polishes but these muted pinks are my favourite as I find them less obtrusive for around the office. The formula of KL polishes are amazing, long wearing and I love that the brushes are wide so you can get such an even finish.

Maybelline Super Stay 7 Days 'Rose Poudre' - No surprise that this polish has made it's way into this post. This is probably one of my all time favourite nail polishes. Rose Poudre is a light purple/lavender pink that like Alyssa is great for everyday. Another great formula as this polish does usually stay on my nails for 6/7 days.

Essie 'Ballet Slippers' - I wouldn't think I would love this nail polish as much as I do but Ballet Slippers is such a great polish when you just don't want to wear a full-colour and are looking for a quick shade to pop on. This is a sheer light pink which reminds me of a shade that would be used as a base for a french manicure. Although to me Essie polishes aren't the most long-lasting, I do find that their shades are so pretty that you can't not buy them.

Essie 'Spin The Bottle'  - This is what I call my true perfect nude. It's a peachy pink shade but steers more on the pink as sometimes peach can totally discolour me. Weirdly as much as I claimed Essie polishes weren't long-lasting this colour actually does last a tad longer than my other Essie polishes. You only need two coats to make this fully opaque which definitely works in my favour as three coats usually tends to mean earlier chipping!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 'Nude Now' - I wouldn't necessarily all this colour 'nude' at all and it looks very different out of the bottle than in it as it's really quite a peachy orange shade perfect for the transitional period between Spring and Summer if we ever get there! Like Ballet Slippers this too is a sheer product so it doesn't reach full opaqueness but that's actually quite nice as I don't think I'd like the shade as a full toned colour. I love Sally Hansen polishes Hard as Nails is my holy grail as I find they are such high quality and by wearing them they make your nails stronger.

Let me know in the comments below what you're favourite nude nail polish is for the Spring time!
