A World Duty Free Haul*

One of my favourite things about going away apart from the prospect of sun and sightseeing is definitely airport shopping. I don't know why you suddenly think your purse/wallet is invisible when in World Duty Free, but it just is, and I'm not going to lie, the beauty section in World Duty Free always sucks me. The very kind team at World Duty Free sent me along some of their travel exclusives and I can't wait to share with you some of the amazing bits you can pick up next time you're off.

Mac Lip Duo 'Honeylove'* - I didn't even know Mac did a lip duo and this is something I just LOVE the concept of. Essentially you get both a lipstick and the best-matching lip liner. In my duo I've got the lip pencil in 'Subculture' which is a nude/pink along with the matte lipstick in 'Honeylove'.  I've never tried a Mac lipliner, and although I do usually prefer more 'crayon-like' liners, the pigmentation is so opaque even for a nude. Honeylove is going to be the perfect nude lipstick for the Spring/Summer time. Currently it is a little too draining on my skin but once I've got a bit more colour to my face, this shade is going to be stunning and I love that the lipliner although isn't also the shade 'honeylove' is such a close and ideal match.

Guerlain Météorites* - Have you ever see prettier packaging than this? My jaw actually dropped when I took the product out of the box as I've never actually owned a product quite like this that just screams luxury in so many ways. Incased in a stunning metal box are these multicoloured powder pearls which aim to provide radiance to your complexion. In Spring I actually find my skin transitioning the most and becoming a lot more dry, so am always on the look out for a product that will provide a little bit of dimension and glow to my skin. You can use these either as a powder across the face, but my favourite is to use it on top of my blusher as a 'blush topper' and drag it a little bit higher than a blush to also work as a highlighter. This gives me such an effortless glow and natural glowy finish. It obviously doesn't swatch very well, as you can see from my horrendous swatches because it does have that iridescent ha colouring to it.

Issey Miyake L'Eau D'issey Summer Perfume*  - I think perfume is one of the hardest products to ever fall in love with as not only is there just so much choice, but we all vary greatly in our tastes. I know there are certain perfumes my mum can't stand me wearing and I personally hate anything overly citrus'/wood-like or heavy. I'd never heard of Issey Miyake perfumes before, but I do quite like my floral/sweeter scents but by all means not sugary/candy sweet and as this is the Summer scent I was super intrigued. To me this is quite a mature scent, but not at all 'old' and almost has a citrus scent to it. Looking at the notes I was really surprised to see the top notes were Pink grapefruit & lyche two notes I've never worn in a perfume. I surprisingly really like this perfume, however I wouldn't wear it on a hot Summer's day, but instead it's more of an evening/dinner/drinks scent because it is that little bit more mature.

Let me know in the comments below where you're holidaying/off to next and if you've got anything on your shopping list for when you're in duty free I already know I need to pick up more Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream!
