My Charlotte Tilbury Collection

I remember purchasing my first ever Charlotte Tilbury product, I headed to the Covent Garden store and practically squealed with excitement as to all the rose gold packaging and pretty lipsticks, next thing I knew I was pretty much hooked on Charlotte Tilbury. It's been just over a year since that moment in Covent Garden yes I'm being dramatic and calling it a 'moment' and have picked up and been gifted by friends and family an array of beautiful CT products.

My first product was of course a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and it was the Matte Revolution 'Glastonberry' lipstick, yup I totally gave into the 'Zoella' hype. This was actually my first dark and bold lipstick in my collection and it still holds a very special place in my heart. It's a gorgeous purple berry shade that just screams out Autumnal. I then gave into the blogger hype of the Matte Revolution 'Pillow Talk' lipstick. This is actually my second lipstick as I wear this constantly and pretty much 3/7 days of the week. It's that perfect comfortable nude/pink lipstick, and despite it being called a matte, to me it's more of a satin finish and one that I think everyone needs in their collection.
For my birthday last year I was very kindly gifted two lipsticks, K.I.S.S.I.N.G 'Bitch Perfect' and Matte Revolution 'Bond Girl'. Bitch Perfect is a lovely sheer peachy nude lipstick perfect for the Spring and Summer time where I constantly reach for it whereas Bond Girl is a dusty berry red shade that to me oozes luxury and is quite a nice mature red.

One of my other favourite products from Charlotte Tilbury are the eyeshadow palettes. I only have two of these but they are some of my most reached for and loved palettes. The first one I ever purchased was 'Dolce Vita'. What I love about these quad palettes is that you can either use all the shades individually or work them together to create an entire look. The champagne shade in Dolce Vita is one shadow that I always have wanted to be in a single shadow. I also own 'Golden Goddess' which I think is highly underrated, this is a gorgeous quad for more of an everyday natural wear.

Lastly and still for the eyes are the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise pots. Oh my god these are amazing. Remember when everyone and their mum was obsessed with the Maybelline 24 Hour Tattoos and they were essentially the best thing ever? Well I thought they were, until I got my hands on these. I have never felt a creamier or more cushion-like cream eyeshadow in my life. I own two shades 'Bette' and 'Jean' and if you're regular readers of Iridescent Places you're probably tired of hearing about these as I literally use them in every makeup post ever. I just can't get enough of them!

I also own a few bits from them: The Dolce Vita palette, the Pillow Talk lipstick, and the Filmstar Bronze&Glow palette. I feel like you would really like that particular palette as well!

  11. You know, calling it 'a moment' is perfectly fine. I still remember how excited I was when my Selfridges order came in with the Dolce Vita palette and the Bronze & Glow duo. Aww. Little did I know it was just the beginning of a very expensive obsession XD
The cream shadows are amazing, I owned Jean and Marie Antoinette already and I just got Bette. Can't wait to use it! Xx
