Spring/Summer Fashion Faves

Okay so it looks as if we came and saw both Summer and Spring and after a week of blissful sun sadly the rain and grey has returned to England. However, saying that, the week of sun really encouraged me to step up my Summer and Spring wardrobe and I'm so happy with my recent purchases.

I have wanted a round straw bag for ages since they've come into fashion, naturally of course I wanted the Zara one everyone had but it was consistently out of stock online and in store. However I found this ASOS Round Straw Bag the other day and immediately fell in love. I do think a lot of these are quite pricey, including this one but I think this will be such a staple for me on both holidays and on the weekends in the Summer. It comes with both a handle and a long shoulder strap so you can wear it either way.

Because I am marginally tall I find it such a pain to find clothes that I can wear to work during the Spring and Summer. Dresses are always far too short as are skirts for that same reason. I've got quite a few jumpsuits from last year from Newlook, but I really wanted a polka dot one. This ASOS Polka Dot Jumpsuit  was also constantly out of stock, but finally managed to get my hands on it the other day and I just love it! It's so comfortable and you can either dress it up with some brown strappy sandals or down with a pair of converse.

I've been seeing a few Co-Ord sets around lately but I was totally inspired by Alix from I Covet Thee to pick up this Newlook Co-Ord Set. What I love about this set is that you can wear the top and bottoms together, or even as separate items. The trousers look amazing with a plain white t-shirt and this is another piece that I know I can dress up and down.

My favourite ever sunglasses are my Ray-Ban Round SunglassesI have a pair of wayfarer ones but I just always end up picking these ones up as I think they just add that little bit of edge to any look.

My flatmate has a pair of Sam Edelman sandals that I absolutely adore, however sadly can't get hold of in the UK. It's so difficult to find a pair of sandals that don't have any gold hardware, pom poms or are have faux leather that just looks that little bit tacky. I then however clocked these Accessorize Villa Sandals  at the airport and immediately fell in love. Sadly they didn't have these in my size, but they were actually on sale a couple of weeks ago on their website for £20 so it was even better of a bargain! I think these are those classic brown sandals that everyone needs in their wardrobe, and a bonus is that the leather is so soft they don't rub at all.

Let me know in the comments below what fashion faves you'll be picking up this year, of course I'm always looking for more and more inspo!
