August To-Do List

Stick to Blogging Schedule

I don't know about you guys, but I found sticking to my blogging schedule during the past couple of months extremely hard. Most of the weekends I've been away, or out and about and just haven't had the time or energy to take photos in the searing heat which ultimately left me having no blog posts for a good two weeks whoops. I've been back at home for a weekend finally and managed to bank a lot of blog content, so I'm hoping I won't go off the grid for a while now! At least not for the rest of August....

Organize Autumn/Winter Holidays

I mean I'm still trying to lock in one more last Summer holiday weekend away but naturally I'm starting to think about what I can do in the Autumn/Winter time. My flatmate and I are most likely going to go back to my home in Zurich to see the Christmas markets and maybe even a New Years trip to Lisbon so I've definitely got a bit of planning and saving to do!

Read 2 New Books

I've been pretty good at reading throughout the Summer holidays and my 'to read' list is getting smaller and smaller. I'm midway through reading Last Seen Alive by Claire Douglas and next to read are Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng and How To Stop Time by Matt Haig. I find it so much easier to read during the Summer for some reason just because I don't particularly do anything when sunbathing other than read and can get through literally 30 books in a Summer!

Discover More of London

I've been living in London for a little over two years now and have absolutely loved every minute of it. Don't get me wrong, the tube is utter shit, pardon my French but apart from that I never feel bored here. I've done so many amazing things, seen plays in the West End, gone to concerts, took part in immersive theater and have done so many tourist attractions. Although saying that, I just feel like London has so much to offer. My mum actually received this book Secret London for her birthday from my Aunt and I've already made loads of notes as to different places I want to visit such as the Postal Museum and do one of the tours of the closed underground stations in London!

Book in a Spa Day

My friend from uni and I have been wanting to book in a spa day for absolutely ages and once I hopefully get the time booked off in September, we'll be doing an overnight stay which will hopefully just be full of relaxation so fingers crossed for me to actually booking it in August! Everyone needs a little 'treat yo self' midway through the year and a day of prosecco, massages and relaxation is just what I need.

  8. I find consistency with blogging can be such a fickle thing, the smallest thing can either determine whether we are productive or the complete opposite. Right now I am keeping up with everything which I've been able to maintain since the beginning of 2016 (prior to that I was definitely not consistent!). I just know once I find work, consistancy will be super tricky and maintaining blogging will be tricky. But the beauty of having a hobby you love this much, it's worth it to find ways to squeeze it in your day.

  10. Hello
I love your list, but living in London must be stunning because it's a city with so much to see and live and I believe that annoyance is not the word that defines London but fun is the word. I also like to have time to read, I have so many activities that I can not have free time to devote myself to reading in fact I read a lot is on the internet.
