Like everyone I've had a bit of a journey when it comes to my brows. 8 years ago I had half an eyebrow and still do in my passport photo from plucking them too much thankfully they have grown back and since then I've found it really hard to not pluck them myself and give them some TLC with the right products.
Revlon Brow Colourstay Brow Pencil*
I used to be a die-hard brow powder kind of girl, the Hi Impact Brow powder used to be my holy grail, but I didn't see the point in buying a brow palette which I'd only need one of the shades of. So I went back to pencils and have fallen in love with these Revlon one. Firstly, the spoolie on this brown pencil is incredible, it really fluffs my brows and helps distribute the product. I have mine in the shade Blonde, and although it is pretty dark for a blonde (ie if you are quite fair it probably won't suit) it's the perfect shade for me who is in-between light blonde and brunette. Rather than being a pencil, it almost as a creamy crayon consistency meaning it distributes the product a bit more.
Originally I used the L'Oreal Brow Plumper but I couldn't get my hands on the blonde one for ages so opted for this one instead and I absolutely love it! I have to say I actually prefer the spoolie on this brush as it;s a bit wider and has a lot of brush fibres meaning it doesn't just add a lump of product which I sometimes had with the L'Oreal one. I've also got this in the shade Blonde and this is actually quite a light shade, meaning it doesn't overly colour my brows which I like as I prefer my brow gels to set and fluff rather than colour too much. I also find that NYX have more of a range of brow shades than most drugstore products too.
I can't believe I haven't mentioned this concealer yet on the blog, even though it is pretty new to my collection. I didn't think I could fall in love with another drugstore concealer like I did with the Collection Lasting Perfection one, but I have. The Catrice concealer has such high coverage without becoming overly creasy or cakey and the lightest shade is perfect to brighten the under eyes. However, I have started using concealer to define my brows as well. I never used to do this, but when my brows are getting to that point just before they need threading, I '
I really want to try out some NYX brow products soon, I have heard nothing but good things about the brand!

I have and love that nyx tinted brow mascara. Nyx is such an awesome drugstore brand and in particular their brow products are always so wonderful!

I used to use brow pencils, but have since been converted to brow pomade - I find it so much easier to achieve the look I'm going for! The NYX Brow Gel sounds lovely, as does that Catrice Concealer xo
