Makeup I've Been Lusting Over

It's actually been ages since I've not only written a makeup wish list but actively gone out and purchased new makeup. None of the below are particularly new launches but they have caught my eye, so thought I'd give a rundown on a couple of the bits!

Morphe Continuous Setting Mist - I have heard everyone and their mums raving continuously about this product on the YouTube and Blog community. I'm a massive advocate for setting mists, and as much as I love my UD All Nighter, I do think it's a bit pricey so I'm so intrigued to give the Morphe one a go. Kathleen from KathleenLights (basically the person I go for all makeup recommendations) says this is amazing for us dry skin girls and basically just melts and moulds your makeup into your skin. I also know Lily from PintSized Beauty says it gives your skin a subtle glow which is definitely what I need in this weather!

Smashbox Photofinish Primerizer  - Another Kathleen recommendation, apparently this is one of her holy grail primers. I think I need to start incorporating primer into my makeup routine as I do find a lot of foundations and concealers become patchy and sit on my nose. I'm not really looking for a primer that is silicone based (as this doesn't work very well for my dry skin and makes it sooo flakey) but one instead that is hydrating and doesn't sit on my skin which I heard this is perfect for!

RCMA No Colour Powder  - This is one product that has been on my wish list for as long as I can remember and I just don't know why I haven't picked it up yet! I feel like the only person who hasn't given this powder a try. I don't know a single person who hasn't gotten on well with this powder. It's definitely not even the price of the powder that puts me off as it's actually really cheap and you get so much product from it. I am totally going to do a beauty bay order next payday and I promise, this will be making it in my basket!

Loreal Infallible Fresh Wear Foundation - Honestly I am so confused with a million of Infallible foundations that L'Oreal has come out with. There are different types, packaging and names depending on if you're in the US and UK so it's seriously confusing to know which one however, I believe the Fresh Wear foundation is one of their newer formulas. Drugstore foundations are usually my go-to as I can't be bothered to buy expensive ones for them to be duds, so I'm definitely going to go in store and attempt to colour match me. I've heard loads of people say it's really nice and lightweight which is perfect, however some have flagged that the foundation oxidizes so I may need to get a lighter shade than usual!

Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer - I'm sure everyone has heard but Milk Makeup has made it's way to the UK. I'm so excited to give Milk makeup a try, but my one problem is that you can't see the shades as you can only buy it online at the moment. Alix from ICovetThee talked about how incredible the Matte Bronzer was, the formula being super creamy and not too pigmented to blend out, so I'd love to try this out, however although I know I'd obviously have to go for the lightest shade, you just never know online if the tone will be too orange/too grey!

Let me know what you've got your eye on, I feel as if my wishlist is forever growing!

  3. I'm always lusting over charlotte tilbury makeup and this year I need to finally take the plunge and make myself pick up the products I've been eyeing for years! I ADORE that smashbox primerize, if I had to choose one primer it would definitely be that one, the most hydrating primer I've ever tried and it doesn't make you greasy.I'm also in love with the L'Oreal Paris stay fresh foundation and the RCMA no colour powder (which I've reviewed on the blog). I need to try that Morphe setting spray, I'm planning a small morphe order soon and I plan to get like 3 of those setting spray bottles haha.
