Monthly Favourites: February

So thankfully we're nearly done with not only this week don't even get me started, that requires a whole blog post but also nearly with February. It's been a pretty surreal and busy month as you'd know if you read my February Rundown blog post here - so I feel almost removed from the beauty world. I am desperately in need of a big makeup haul and to fall back in love with makeup.

The one thing I have been doing quite a bit of is going out this month and also travelling so a lot of my products kind of have revolved around that.

Firstly it has to be this gorgeous BareMinerals Gen Nude 'Rose Palette' *which is just absolutely stunning and so perfect for travelling. It's a very sleek palette and has great shades perfect for both daytime and evening looks. I hadn't ever tried BareMinerals eyeshadows before but honestly they are so underrated, the pigmentation is amazing and they are creamy without being crumbly. I also love that this palette has such a great mirror on it, the packaging is seriously beautiful!

Of course Charlotte Tilbury's Woderglow has made another appearance in my monthly favourites. My skin during the winter is just so dry and flat and this along with the Mac Strobe Cream are the only thing that stop it from looking completely bland. I usually keep Wonderglow though for nights out/special occasions only because I have the sample/travel sized version so I don't want to over-use it but it not only makes my makeup last longer, but gives it this gorgeous golden sheen/glow! I totally want to buy a full sized of this product soon!

My scent has and always been Chloe Eau De Parfum but it just gets far too expensive to wear on a day to day basis, so I picked up the Zara Tuberose Perfume which is such a bargain and smells amazing! I think this was only like £10 and it's such a stunning scent, with notes of blackcurrant, tuberose and vanilla. To me it's a very floral, feminine yet fresh scent. Although it doesn't have the longest staying power throughout the day, it also comes in a rollerball too which I carry around with me in my purse to top up.

Lastly is this beautiful Winky Lux Strobing Balm 'Radiant Pink' which came in a Birchbox box. I've never heard of Winky Lux but I can't even describe the formula of this product. It's almost a mix between a cream and a lip balm, I can't believe I'm going to say it but it's even creamier than the Colourpop Supershock highlighters. The highlight is pretty pigmented so you need a light hand, I tend to either use my fingers or a beauty sponge if I want it to be a little bit less opaque. It's also such a dainty little highlighter so perfect for travelling and because it isn't a powder you also don't have to worry about it smashing.

Let me know in the comments below what you've been loving in February!
