I actually don't remember the last time I did a makeup update on this blog, it actually feels forever ago, and partly because I feel like recently my blog has just gone down the lifestyle path recently. Back to mascara and lipsticks we go!
Base:
For my base I am still very much obsessed with the Mac Strobe Cream 'Silverlite'. I've been wearing this underneath my foundation and I can totally tell the difference on days when I don't. My skin just looks so much more glowy/flawless and alive, which I really need on some of those Spring grey days we've had recently! This featured in my Product of the Month: January blog post so gave it much more of an in depth review there!
Foundation wise I've gone back to a foundation I didn't think I originally liked but have loved since I think I've found the perfect way to apply it/what products to use it with. Of course a KathleenLights recommended purchase, the L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24hr Foundation is what I wear on a day to day base. When I had a tan don't get me wrong I was wearing my BareMinerals Complexion Rescue but sadly it's faded so am back on the foundation. I would say this is a medium coverage foundation. When you first pump it out it's incredibly runny, but oddly I would say is more of a satin finish rather than a gel/dewy finish. It applies best in my opinion with a good dewy primer underneath and with a damp beauty sponge.
I've partly given up on my concealer in all honesty as this foundation is so amazing, but one that I use if I've got really bad under eyes is the Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer. This is one damn high coverage concealer, I would probably say more so than the Collection Lasting Perfection One. It's unbelievably good because not only is it high coverage, but it's also dewy so doesn't look dry and crusty at all under the eyes throughout the day.
For powders I've actually not been changing it up at all and been using some OG holy grails apart from my setting powder. To set everything in place I've been obsessed with the BAreMinerals Mineral Veil. Talk about a fine powder that gives you that natural glow. Obsessed! For blush unfortunately I've gotten back to my holy grail Milani Powder Blush in Romantic Rosa. Sometimes good things just don't need switching up. For bronzer it's also the ever faithful Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. Highlighter has also remained with my favourite TheBalm Mary Loumanizer - the perfect champagne highlighter for everyday.
The Eyes and Brows
A new brow product I've been loving recently is the L'Oreal Brow Artist Xpert literally sounds like a bloody space station tool. I'm really liking fluffy sparse brows so with the fabulous spoolie on this brow product along with the NYX Brow Mascara I can achieve full and fluffy brows.
Controversially, as much as I do love all my eyeshadows and palettes, I've been really loving wearing the No7 Shimmer Palette 'Rose' all over my lid on top of Charlotte Tilbury's Eyes to Mesmerise 'Jean'. It creates such a pretty neutral shimmery bronze/pink eyelook for everyday.
I finish it off with my trusty Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner to tight-line and have recently repurchased my one to true love the KIKO Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara which gives me such full and fluttery lashes.
The Lips
Finally it wouldn't be a everyday makeup routine without a lipstick. I do change up my lipsticks quite regularly but if there's ever going to be one that I'm full obsessed with and wear more than most it's the combination of Charlotte Tilbury's PillowTalk lipstick and Colourpop Fairy Floss Lip Gloss.
Right yup, I can totally tell why I don't do these posts very often, they take foreverrr but alas that's my most days makeup look! Let me know in the comments if there's any products I use you love/hate/holy grail - would love to know!

It's so beautiful and reminds me of the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow, just acts as such a good glowy base if you've got drier skin! xx
DeleteI love Milani blushers, I have never tried one of the rose ones though. Might have to add one to my wish list!
