The Clarins 'It's Freezing' Box

Although it's far from freezing today, or as it's looking like, this week, does anyone else with super dry skin find that drastic changes in the weather cause for your skin to have an absolute freak out?  From the freezig cold a couple of weeks ago, to this weather now, whether it's acne or, currently, dry skin, my skin has definitely needed a bit more TLC. As previously mentioned in my Travel Essentials Blog Post I've been edging more and more into Clarins into my skincare so thought I'd do a little review on their boxes. The Clarins boxes are such fabulous gifts for him or her (they have options for both) where you can get an array of products for them to try out.

Obviously a box that offers to provide products that will restore, hydrate and pamper my skin I am so down for. Especially the hydration. You know how much I need that. So here's a rundown on The Clarins 'It's Freezing' Box

I thought it would be easiest to give a little run down on each of the products and my first thoughts on them so far. Hydra-Essentiel Lip Balm 15 ml for perfectly smooth and soft lips.

Moisture Rich Body Lotion

I am always on the search for a body lotion that isn't overly scented, helps keen my keratosis pilaris at bay and also helps with moisturizing. This definitely feels really nice and soothing on my arms, and does a good job moisturizing but I haven't noticed a big difference in my skin colouring which is my main issue. I think if I'm suffering with quite red skin I'll stick to my E45 cream, but otherwise this does make for a nice travel moisturizer.

Hand and Nail Treatment Cream
This is probably up there with one of my favourite products in the box. I suffer from quite dry hands, and for some reason at my office there is this hand soap in the bathroom that causes them to feel so dry right after I use it. I have to carry around hand cream with me at all times so this beauty sits in my handbag and just works wonders. It reminds me a lot of the Elizabeth Arden hand cream, quite thick but also seeps into your skin fairly quickly and isn't oily either.

SOS Hydra Mask

I mean I love a face mask but I tend to not use them that often as some can really irritate my skin and although I have dry skin, if I use one to many hydrating products I can break out from it! I think this is a product I'll have to try out a couple of times to notice a difference. My skin felt a little bit hydrated but not so much of a massive difference just yet.

Hydra-Essentiel Serum & Blue Orchid Oil
Oils and serums for me take quite a long time to review. For example my Kiehl's midnight recovery oil took me around 3 months to really start noticing and seeing the impact it had on my skin. I've been using the orchid oil when travelling instead of my midnight recovery oil and so far so good. I don't know whether it has made that much of a noticeable difference to my Kiehls. Will continue to keep you posted on these two!

Let me know what products you've tried from Clarins in the comments below!

  4. As a person who has very dry skin in winters, I assure you it's not that cold yet I think I am at my limits. I got some interesting facts from https://domyhomeworkfor.me/java-homework-help while studying. I need some very powerful products to take care of my skin.
